Three or four cameras are on the act the whole time. Then there are some more cameras on Ant & Dec, the judges, and the audience. Days or weeks later, the production team decides which bits of footage the editor should string together to make the programme for broadcast. ;)

Who cares if it's a setup? The video is about the act. Dudes fucking brilliant with doing this. I don't think anyone has ever tried real ventriloquism (spelled it wrong I bet) on BGT. He's not that bad either, he's maybe a couple steps below Dunham and his puppets. I can still see his lips on the side moving but its pretty good. Guys, I have a friend that auditioned for BGT. There are 2 auditions before you are put in front of the judges, my friend managed to get through the first bu then failed on the second, thus never being seen by the judges.
