  • This was fantastic, as others have said before the filming the story and everything was conveyed so well in such a short amount of time with no dialogue. I found you from your post on Olan Rogers page, I'm a huge fan of his stuff and I now am a fan of yours. Hope to see more! Keep up the good work.

  • @Qweets Thanks so much! We're huge fans of Olan as well. New Prime 5 was a huge kick in the pants to up our game. We have a few projects in the works right now, so stay tuned. :D

  • Thumbs up if you think 2 people obviously lacked Resolve.

  • There isn't a second in this video that bores me! Such a simple scene yet so intense! I hate to be one to crap on about the production quality, but the cinematography, the music, the set, were all so superb! I think it takes a lot of talent to set up a story in such a short amount of time and with no dialogue, so great work! This video just leaves me wanting more!

  • @daleywhaley89 Your compliment means more than you know.

  • Now the government is gonna keep tabs on what I watch because I saw this

  • @13Moviemansam I'm a federal agent.

  • Great video! I like how it is underplayed and doesn´t make everything to obvious. The actor could be a bit more passive (not rubbing his eyes so much etc.) just because it would fit the style better in my opinion. A silence stare as his eyes goes teary would do the trick. Sometimes less is more. But great video, with great atmosphere :)

  • @benaja We'll keep that in mind. :)

  • @benaja I think the rubbing eyes part was very natural and the roughness in how it was done kind of shows the personality of the protagonist. I agree that a silent stare as the eyes go water would have been less of a jump and would add a nice subtlety. But I'm really looking forward to the next part!

  • very nice. the acting, editing, light....and I love the score. I want to see that dude do whatever he's planning!

Surprised you let the Altoids tin get past. I'm always a little leery of corporate logos, so we either blur or tape 'em. Tape is WAY easier LOL!

  • @pangeapiercing I was willing to take the risk because I didn't want the viewer to be distracted by a logo coverup. I wanted them to know that the device was being disguised in something that is normally harmless. And thank you for the compliment on the score! I actually score all of the videos we make, so everything you hear in our other videos is my work as well.

  • @exitsixtwo HOLY BALLS. On our little deal, all I do is appear on screen, direct, and do about half the shooting. All the editing, post processing, and music is other guys. I don't have a musical bone in my body, and my editing sucks, so hats off to you, sir!

I did respond strongly to the use of the altoids tin- such a common thing, usually filled with candy or weed, turned into something dangerous. I'd like to see where this goes. Subscribed!

  • Loved the cinematography and ambiguity of this. The only note I'd make is that the picture (painting?) of the man's wife/lover/ladyfriend is too dimly lit. I understand if that was a director's choice, but if it's hard to make out than it's more confusing than meaningful. Otherwise, great stuff!

  • @sduffyfilms You are correct, the picture is very dimly lit. It was partially to protect the identity of the lady in the picture, and partially because my only light source was that lamp. Good catch! :)

  • you sir are a genius

  • @bboyb7 Why thank you!

  • a grenade a battery and dough thats how all youtube videos should start

  • @doubletaproductions We aim to please.

  • impressive cinematography

  • @ProtohTypX Thank you. :)

  • Where's Barron!?!?!

  • @BrAyDeN1217 Exit Six Two is more than just Baron Redding, fella. Don't worry, he'll be back soon with more grand adventures!

  • wow that was pretty amazing. hope i can watch a sequel of some sort.

  • @rlstine9 Already in the works. In the meantime, check out our other videos if you'd like! :)

  • What camera are you guys filming with?

  • @JensLine We're using a Rebel T2i with the kit lens. I'll post more details in the description, and if you have more questions, ask away!

  • @exitsixtwo Did you color correct it? And how do you change the shutter speed on a t2i in video mode?

  • @JensLine Yes, I used Adobe Premiere Pro CS5 to color it with the three-way color correction tool and procAmp for contrast, brightness, etc. As far as shutter speed goes, you just go to video mode and spin the dial. It should default to shutter speed, and will show up as the number on the bottom left of your lcd screen.

  • We have the same rolling pin!

  • Very nicely done :)

  • Co Za Asy!!!

  • @Daemongarso Haha, I don't know whether to take this as a compliment or an insult.

  • ooo!

  • The suspense is killing me! I call for a sequel please!

  • that was simply remarkable.
