  • ""I will make him crawl on his bended knees, and beg for mercy."

    -Lee Kuan Yew.

SINGAPOEANS SHOULD AND WILL STILL SEEK JUSTICE FOR ALL ACCOUNTABILITY & WRONG-DOINGS AGAINST YEW EVEN AFTER HE (YEW) RETIRES OR QUITS FROM POLITICS! PAY BACK TIME!

  • it's all one huge, sophisicated ponzi scheme

  • If only Hong Kong could have sovereignty just like Singapore. then

there would be one more *Asian* state on the map, not only like 1,

there would be more high quality sophisticated *Asians-Chinese* in this world.

Now it's like a confusing status, even worse than Taiwan, controlled by a MOTHERFUCKEN 3RD world country that is not even *China* anymore.

No wonder Asians (Chinese) aren't strong in this world. The sophisticated ones are less, the 3rd world ones are the one's in charge.

  • The news reporter's hot.

  • Lee has grown old.

  • politicians are liars, all of them to a certain degree

  • i have done my writting to u-tube to disable those thumbs.

Have u done yours? If u wrote en mass , i had no doubt that those thumbs will be disable.

  • I just wonder which are the fairer one in their comments , even the bad comments look reasonably fair to me.

And they did not counter you with their own cut and paste comments here. If not the page is good to put to a close close. They look the much fairer one.

Are u trying to make urself look bigger here.?

  • The reasons may be that their commentaries are irrelevant. What the audience want perhaps are hard real life arguments, both negative and positive views.Singaporean are liberal in their thinking.

Cut and paste stuff seemed not to look very genuine. It look weird too especially when one had very little knowledge of the country.

Unless he is just an observer...follow the bad smell from somebody asses.

    I am suggesting...no pain..no gain.

  • Temasek and GIC scored high indeed.Thats good news but they score many bad points too.

Do you mind post the good and bad especially when the bulk of those investments involve citizens lifetime savings.

  • You have a sick mind.Who are those people you mention here. I am a PAP supporter all this while.

But people like Mr Low . Chiam or Kenneth come to contest in my ward next election.I will vote for them.

  • Who is exposing them.I see none here except you.

You look so bothered by them. Why must be it so? People are free to post here and give opinions.

I don.t see any of those two u mention posting comments here.

  • could stfu pls?

  • Yes understand the cost of living in here too. The infrastures are excellent here and togetger come along a price for it too.GST,corporate taxes, employer CPF contributions..etc. Measure up the cost of business with those provided by .

If you got what it take, u are welcum to set up bussiness here. Make preference to employ more Singaporeans.

If not you can look eslsewhere.

  • what a load of bullcrap on transparency! if the Norwegian Pension Fund(also subjected to populalist pressure) is able to do well with full transparency, why can't the singaporeans do the same?

  • we got screwed

  • Dear MM Lee,

Just check the derivatives exposure of all these banks and you will get a shock of your life, provided you could find them.

  • Dear MM Lee,

You said we invest for long term. What happens if Citbank,UBS,Bank of America,Merrill Lynch etc are no longer in existence in less than 5 years time.We have to think what will be the worst case scenario. Now I am worrying whether I could withdraw my CPF funds when the time comes. What happens if you and your team's judgement is wrong ? All our funds will go up in smoke ! Who will be accountable for this mistake ?

  • The term naive and no substance for a SWF having a warchest of 168 billion USD is far too difficult to comprehend.Perhaps there are substances not make known as both lifesaver and drowning person are in cahoot. What we see and hear are what was intended for.

  • Why in such a hurry to invest in M.L. OR UBS.?

A drowning person will grab anything and pull it down to save his life.

I dont think M.L or UBS is any different from a drowning person

  • Unless the drowning person is in cohorts with you as part of a scam, which is what the whole banking bullshit is all about - scamming the public.

  • Let us presume the lifesaver is genuine in saving the drowning person, at the expense of other mother children hard earn cash.

  • In life not safe to presume anything.Lifesaver may be 'genuine'but naive.LKY talks about investing in citigroup and ML like he is buying brand name clothes , just look at the badge and that's it. Not very sensible when both citi and ML have gone down over 50% or so since GIC went in on this 'fashion' buy.Typical SG all show and NO substance

  • .... juz cos GIC dun nid give return to investors means can anyhow invest without telling us anything?...1 word...fishy

den again cannot be too transparent eh?cos moves will be read eh?shldnt our capable ldrs be able to think out of the box and use new moves?...

  • Our Minister Mentor has yet again based his logic on the premise that the Singapore government is clean and non-corrupt. How can Singaporeans be so stupid as to always trust what the govt says?

  • @kokatoo cos we're awesome
