This video focuses solely on exchanging the inserts, so I can appreciate it from that perspective. However, my experience is that the "baking method" covers all aspects of glue deactivation. It saves the tire, the tire bead, the wheel and the foam insert. It's also much more expedient, as the tire bead literally pulls and pops off the wheel w/o any resistance, once the glue is deactivated by the heat. It's really the only proven method to save the tires, the wheels and the foam inserts.
