  • now these its how every movie should be

  • HAHAHAHA SPLAT!!!!

  • It can be about many things and many types of close bonds (not just lesbian bonds - but maybe Outsidership and Outsider bonds).

  • They might not be LESBIANS, but there still may be homoeros (homoerotic undertones) involved. While it was not an overtly lesbian film, it could have been. And for some of us lesbians, could have been is enough. Ever heard of Boston Marriages?

  • goodbye terrible woman...

  • Well, that movie sucked balls...

  • LEZBOS ARE HOT!!

  • This is one of the most beautiful movies ever.. GREAT performances..

An incredible end! Everytime I see this scene.. I cry..

    What a friendship!!!

  • Geena Davis or Susan Sarandon should have won the oscar and Harvey Keitel should have been nominated for Best Supporting Actor

  • They never died, they landed on a landfill and got arrested

  • Now I'm crying.

  • So what if they killed themselves, they got free from the pain and suffering that haunted their lives.

  • Recuerdo que cuando vi esta escena no paraba de llorar! Y aún lo hago! :(

  • legendary movie

  • This movie is so fucking sad if you think about it :(

  • 1:14 mal montao!

  • I hate it when people say that they are lesbians. THEY AREN'T. They only trust each other. They are very close, loyal friends, and friends only. The kiss at the end was platonic but completely full of love. Not every kiss between two people has a connection to physical attraction. They loved each other as sisters. They would never let each other down like everyone else had.

  • they were best friends, soul mates I believe - who understood each other like no one else understood them. the ending is sad & empowering at the same time - FREEDOM!

  • @poetwriter18 >> More mother-daughter in a way, but kinda becomes sisters by the end.

  • @poetwriter18 I agree, I like to think of them as sister's more than best friends, adds more emotion, Such a touching end to to fabulous movie. It just goes to show what is people minds, bet that kiss was the only thing they picked out on the movie, some people are just sad! if I was in T and L's situation and I had my very best friend with me and we realised we wouldn't have the same life anymore, I would do the same, does that make me gay? of course it don't, just proves best friends are.

  • @superade1000 i dont think its good to think of them as sisters because i dont think an older sister would ever let her younger sister die like that.

  • @jrod4592 They die together, it's highly romanticized when lovers do it, so why not sisters, or even friends?

  • @poetwriter18 If I could thumbs up your comment 100 times, I would. well said. People are so blocked about their own emotions and afraid of real closeness.

  • @Pleaver i agree... people are stupid... everyone is so insecure about themselves ...humans need to get back to the basics of loving one another

  • @poetwriter18 i hate people like you who dont want to think they're lesbian only because you are completely against it

  • @theomen133 I have NOTHING against lesbians. I am a bisexual woman. I have no problem with lesbians. But, these women aren't lesbians nor bisexual. It's pretty clear they are attracted to men exclusively. But, beyond that, a lot of people try to say feminists = lesbians. Not true. Feminists could be gay, bisexual, straight, transgendered, men, women, etc. They happen to be straight women who have a close friendship bond. Your hate is misplaced. You obviously misunderstood my original point.

  • @poetwriter18 lol it was just a silly comment.. anyway.. i didnt watched the whole movie, only the final lol, so.. whatever, have a nice day/afternoon/night

  • @poetwriter18 Their friends til the end. I LOVE THEM SO

  • @BJZnRPZ kill yourself

  • the song: Hans Zimmer - Thunderbird

  • "In the documentary The Celluloid Closet (1995) (based on the Vito Russo book of the same name), Susan Sarandon said that she added the kiss between Louise and Thelma at the end of the movie. Sarandon said that she told costar Geena Davis (but no one else) that she was going to kiss her."

  • There's some lyrics in there somewhere, any idea what's being sung?
