  • Cancer Research UK does not test on dogs or cats.

Macmillan doesn't test on anything. They're not a research-based organisation, they offer care and support for patients and their families, amongst other things.

Cancer Research UK has had amazing breakthroughs in the last few years, and thanks to their research more people now survive cancer.

So try NOT talking about things you don't have a clue about.

  • even if that was true, Monkeys, Rabbits, Mice, Rats, and Pigs all feel pain just as much as cats and dogs so what is you point? Most of the money paid to Cancer research goes to the Managers and CEOs rather than on actual research so it's just a con anyway. Animal testing is NOT nessesary and is barbarick and cowardly. it is not acceptible to take advantage of those who are vulnerable. CR doesn't save more lives than it takes.

  • Even if it is true, better Monkey's Rabbits, Mice, Rats, and Pigs than a human being.

FYI, here is a short list of vaccines, cures, and procedures developed in the 20th century from animal testing: Vaccines: Anthrax, Chicken Pox, Cholera, Diphtheria, Flu, Influenza B, Hepatitis A and B, measles, mumps, polio, rabies, rubella, smallpox, tetanus, whooping cough, yellow fever. Medications: Insulin, Penicillin, streptomycin, anti-inflammatory drugs, pain killers....If you want I could continue.

  • actually according to the results of animal testing painkillers are a lethal substance. it killed every animal that it was tested on. animal testing is entirely inaccurate in comparison to humans. if it was accurate why do we need clinical trials on humans? plus cancer research did not develop anything you listed there buddy. cancer research hasn't done what it said it would after all these years and billions in funding still no cure for cancer.

  • There will probably never will be a true "cure" for cancer. Anyway, my point was that animal testing does bring about good things for humans. If you decided to use half of your brain you would have understood that quite clearly.

It just blows my mind how people can give a shit about an animal over a human being. What a sad fuckin race we are. It my mind humans will always have priorities over animals. It amazed me that anyone else can feel any different.

  • we ARE animals you idiot. and it does not benifit our race to be ruthless. and my point was that by giving money to cancer research you are paying for animal cruelty which is not even getting us any closer to curing cancerit just goes into the CEOs pockets. and if you really believe that there will never be a cure for cancer why support cancer research at all?

  • cancer is cancer, whether in humans or animals

  • i have done the race for life 3 times with my mummy

  • How sad to see all these naive people who really believe they are raising funds for a cure for cancer. The truth is that cures already exist!! Cures for cancer have been around since the early 1900's. Do you really believe that in this capitalistic society dominated by profit, that big pharma want a cure for cancer? It's over 80% of their pill pushing market! You want a real cure see 'run from the cure' by rick simpson, Roral Rife, Jim Humble and MMS, we must wake up and fund those with a cure

  • the end bit made me cry wen the woman said about her mum

  • Me too!! It has made me cry now! I am doing the race for life on 28th June - I hope I can do them proud xx

  • i think that advert is really good...x

  • i certainly don't agree with calling someone a spaz because they expressed their views on animal rights, they are entitled to their opinion...but my opinion is that cancer research are doing an amzing job at helping loads of people so maybe the animal 'sacrifice' is worth it...?

  • I don't think they should use animal testing for cancer research: they should use peadophiles, murderers, rapists etc

  • FuckFuckFuckidyFuck

  • I love animals and have a pet mouse myself, but when i found out that my uncle had cancer it kinda made me think that if they didnt test these drugs on animals then a lot more people would die. When youve been in the situation of losing someone, all you want is to help others get better.

    Moving ad!

  • I've lymphoma cancer. I was diagnosed in Nov 07, at 37 the results were devistating. I have had two quite major operations to remove lymph nodes in my throat and Im currently having chemo, please let me tell you this,I to was opposed to animal testing BUT when something like this happens to you it changes your life and views, these fantastic scientists and doctors need to do this on animals to give people like me and millions of other suffers a fighting chance, however upsetting it may be.

  • My thoughts/prayers are with everyone! Please share this information with everyone you know; it could be the difference between life and death. Please Google: G. Edward Griffin - World Without Cancer - Vitamin B17, Dr. Lorraine Day - Diseases Don't Just Happen, Hoxsey - How Healing Becomes A Crime, Rene Caisse Essiac Cancer Cure, Gerson Therapy - Dying to Have Known, Bob Beck Protocol, There Are No Incurable Diseases, Sunscreen myth Cancer Deception, Cancer Victors, CanCure, RawApricotSeeds,...

  • Together we can beat cancer!

  • I lost my gran last summer to bowel cancer. It was the first time I've experience a death of a family member. I am training for the Belfast marathon on the 5th of May supporting Cancer Research UK and the British Red Cross. Hopefully these actions should enough money to develop more cures. There is no definiation for the word ''incurable disease'' in my dictionary...call me immature and stubborn but that is what I believe.

  • thats so sad when the woman at the end says my mum should be here.

  • I have just been diagnosed with throat cancer at 38, I never thought it could happen to me, but cancer does not discriminate, its funny how we take the most simple things for granted then all of a sudden being dependant on others. I have an amazing family who keep me going when the pain starts, and give me the strength to push on. Please support cancer research without these amazing doctors we wouldnt stand a chance............

  • im 13 years old and my dad was diagnosed with kidney cancer a few months ago. i thought there was no way out. but i had my friends and family with me and my dad and we pulled through. he was cured today and i said thank you to god and to the doctors who saved him. you know think it will happen to you or your loved ones but it happened to me. thank you for posting misnb and god bless you leap2jump.

  • Shut up you idiot

  • You absolute fucking spazz!

  • I didn't say anything mean so you don't need to say mean stuff back... I'm just saying the truth. I'm just saying that its better to support cancer charities which don't test on animals. It's unnecessary, to abuse animals when there are better ways which are cruelty free. Hate me all you want. I just think that animals are important to.

  • Animals are not on the same par as humans.

    Get real.

Come back to me when someone you care about had died because of cancer.

  • What is par?

    And somebody already has.

  • Apologies to disappoint you but I am afraid you won't find any cancer research charity that does not fund or support scientific research that involves the use of animals. I am a scientist at the Institute of Cancer Research in London and we use small rodents for pre-clinical studies. This is the law and no drug can enter trials in humans without first having been proven in a rodent model.

  • Do trials on murderers etc not innocent animals

  • omg she's my sister shut up you spaz befoe you hurt someones feelings this is a really good cause taking you tree huging ways out of it spaz

  • i've only just been able to start watching these videos again. it doesn't take much to help, i lost my mum nearly 5 years ago now, and everytime i see the last girl it really gets me. It's such a worthwhile cause.

  • We must all do our utmost to help people with Cancer like daveroberts said. My heart goes out to you Dave my son.

Nice to see sincere comments on here. :)

  • my mum died of cancer almost 2 years ago and still i find this commercial moving yet uplifting, please donate to them! they save lives and stop people dying when they sholdnt have to. please. x

  • breaks my heart every time i see the girl getting marriend and the boy at the match

  • I feel sorry for the men that suffer with cancer and it isnt recognised as much as breast cancer

  • oh my god this is so sad

  • i hate this advert, makes me really upset evrytime!

  • feel so sorry for them people my heart goes out to them
