We're all taught stereotypes, and some ppl unconsciously conform to stereotypes to blend in, cos if someone doesn't seem stereotypical in certain ways, s/he could be mocked. I've seen black guys and white guys that wear Asian-style clothing and watch a lot of animé, and ppl laugh and say, 'HAHA! Stop trying to be Asian!' cos that's not their background, but who cares?
