I played the Mandarin and Cantonese versions together (was hard cyncing them at first but I did it) and you can HEAR the differences in the two languages. I also listened to them one at a time and they are equally good. ^_^ 5/5

@AlterSpezii in 2008/09 I think they made a real-life action movie for mulan. It's more of the drama and fighting, there is no love between the leader and mulan, but she does take her father's place and joins the army. But, insteaad of Mu-Shu there's one of her friends from growing up that recognizes her and helps her hide her secret. It's in Chinese and its english sub. It's really cool! X3

Actually, both stories of "Cinderella" and "Beauty and the Beast" comes from Germany, collected in the 1700' from old folklore by the Brothers Grimm. Of course Disney made "Beauty and the Beast" appear as it was in France, but "Cinderella" has no referance to where it is, so that one should deffenantly be more "realistic" in German.

@MadeAccount Heracles isn't Hercules' original name. Heracles and Hercules are two different mythical figures. Heracles, it's true, was the Greek version, and did predate Hercules, but that's the case of most of Greek vs Roman mythology, and it would still be acceptable to interchange the names, in something like Disney's movie, because the characters have enough in common. Besides, they completely butchered the myth anyway, regardless of *which* figure they were attempting to use.

Disney made a mandarin version when they made the movie back in 1998. You can switch it to the mandarin version on the dvd.

and I actually prefer the mandarin version, mostly because I prefer the voices in the mandarin version more, but also because it sounds a bit weird to me having a movie in ancient china and then having everyone speak in english.
