actually i believe you are mistaken, if you look closely in the verse he actually plays an F where you think it is a C. he just doesn't bar the whole first fret, he just plays the middle 4 strings

I kinda wrote my own. I arpeggiated the real intro riff (see ultimate-guitar) and then played Am-G-Em-F during the verses and D-G-Asus4 in the choruses... chorii... chorices... whatever the plural is.
