nice riding, straighten the bike b4 applying brake just like the book said
i m wondering, what if there's on coming traffic, what would be the best decision in that case. i mean straightening would certainly run into opposite lane, brake would probably = low side right?
Gotta love oregon for that, I used to drive from Portland to Eureka three times a month for six months. in that time I hit a deer, got car fixed, then hit a baby elk, didnt kill it, sure it made for an easy cougar/bear meal, a rabbit and a skunk. I love animals, but i like driving faster, this was all on HWY 199 from Grants pass to Crescent City. the deer was on 101 and never did find its head after the crash. not to mention the near misses and the heard of elk in middle of 101 north of Arcata.
Wow, great reflexes! I can't believe you didn't get hit by that deer, and the fact that you held on to it in the gravel shows what a great rider you are. Fantastic!
In our country we have deers too. No problem. At lest in a car. Moose are the problem. 100 pounds ando nwards..Anyway. And regardless of what you do, you do not ry to pass them from the front. It is quite simple. They do rush on - not turn back. So you have an amateur biker who panics. He should have tightened the line and moved inward the curve. No proble - no harm. No he hit the deer and almost lost it. He might have also hurt the deer.
Just befor he hit the dear you can see the first one climbing the hill half way up the hill and an othet one wase following and motorcylce hit that one. Good drive he his.
@AlainBrunetNorcan Good eyes. There are actually 2 young deer running up the hill that warned me before the one that I almost hit. They are very difficult to see on this video. The original resolution shows them better.
um when your up in that country there shouldnt be any deer signs cuz your supposed to know.unless your an inbred dumbass.well you cant be inbred cuz then youd be there hunting the shit out of that area.
This shows what years of experience will do. He played it perfectly. He counter steered to straighten the bike, then hit the brakes without locking them, very nicely done. Many other riders would've low sided on that one.
Yeah i agree with you. Those other guys arguing with you on that vid don't know what they're talking about. They would just like to blame their lack of experience on luck.
Hey All! Sorry it's been so long since we've followed up. This was taken in Eastern Oregon on the Upper Middle Fork road that runs East starting north of Long Creek at Hwy 395. It ends at Austin at Highway 7 just north of the John Day Highway 26.
It looks more like it ran behind the bike to me, but either way good work on the rider of that bike for not crashing and making those curves after that.
Damn that triumph rider impressed me, awesome skills!
I had close call here in finland. I almost hit a large deer(brown pelage and white legs, bigger than me and my bike) from high speed during night ride. If I had hit the deer I would 98% surely die.
That wasn't a Kangaroo, it was s deer. Besides if they were in Australia where Kangaroos live they would have been driving on the opposite side of the road.
Quite astute of you genius but who are you replying to? You make no sense including yesyesyouareright below. When you reply to a message click on the original comment reply link otherwise you look retarded and throw in a non sequitur statement...look the word up...I know you are going to have to.
For a British citizen you aren't very intelligent, if you were able to view your monitor correctly you would see that I was "replying" to YesYesYouAreRight, my comment is indented from his...look up indented. I found your statement to be rather pompous, look the word up, I know you are going to have it.
You look up "indented" you ass...look above you stupid prick...your comment is not indented in your original remark. Maybe you might want to look up optomologist too...tard! I can do this all day...
By doing this all day you will only continue to display your ignorance. My comment was made after hitting "reply", my comment IS indented, I full understand what the term "indented" means, maybe you need to look it up...or get your computer checked. Just like a typical Brit, you need to resort to name calling to get your point across. Maybe it's time for you to move on. I believe you've just removed all doubt as to who the "tard" is here...best of luck in your future endeavors.
Bikersrule07, I'm not that stupid, but apparently you are. Park your moped before you hurt yourself. If you read my post you might actually know what you're talking about you fucking moron. To explain for your meager mind, someone posted that it was a kangaroo, it is a deer. To further clarify, I mentioned that if it were a kangaroo they would have been on the opposite side of the road, my point was that they were in fact not in Australia. You're a dumb fuck aren't you?? Now go fuck off!
bikersrule07 MrOffshore britishcitizen1 GW2FanBoy Very funny the lot of you. Most amusing! Thanks for commenting! Get out more! Have a nice day each of yous. . Cheers. from, del-boy. Have you tried Koala-Paw Soup ?
