  • Lifting weights slowly was actually proven in an experiment that if you lift 3 seconds up and 3 seconds down, rather than fast, then you will have more muscle mass. This is because if you lift fast, then you are using momentum instead of your muscle to lift. Also, by lifting slowly, you reduce your chances of injury by ALOT. Trust me, lift slowly
