So so. The effort is excellent, but the lines are delivered poorly and rushed. It seems as though all the work has gone in to making it look as much like the original as possible, without focus on the dialogue. This especially matters as the delivery of dialogue is what made Fear & Loathing so good in the first place. Excellent tribute though!

I don't understand why you children feel so angry about the adaptation. Why can't you just try to enjoy the effort. There are so many critics but not enough films makers. When you start making films you will see how hard it is to shoot with no money and non actors in limited time. This is one of our earlier videos in our film classes that we took over 3 years ago. We have grown as directors and writers but are still proud of our early work. So get over yourselves.

I'm the one behind this movie. It wasn't meant as disrespect for the Dr. Understand this was done for a shitty film class on a shitty budget I am a shitty person in general. I am as big of an HST fan as any of you, and I don't feel this does him justice either, nor do I think Gilliam's adaptation did for that matter. I think I paid everyone in beer and Wendy's dollar menu. Get over yourselves, Hunter's dead now; we need to make our own fun, not live in his wake.

The overall ambiance of the whole movie is some young punks who think they have what it takes to match the genius of Thompson, Gilliam, Depp, and Toro. Instead of making a remake, you only succeeded in making yourselves look like idiots who have no respect for any of the above mentioned persons. This video is dispicable. Show Dr. Thompson the respect he deserves and take this video off the internet.
