I forgot to mention,make sure your blades are not the standard come with the machine mulch blades,you need highlifts or things like bagging and striping will not work.

For home depot version john deer riders,the mulching plugs will still make a mess and are only great for leaf cleanup on a lower level.

You can basicly stripe with any mower,jut gotta know what ur doing.mow as if your trying to stripe,my lawnboy and john deer 125 model make nice stripes effect.
