Considering the script, they have Jack beating a man taller and stronger, to mean he is so upset and angry and frustrated, he doesn't care who is he beating
Great scene, but you left out the punch line !!! When he gets home he tells his wife he had his pocket picked but he mangaed to get his wallet back. His wife then tells him "That's not your wallet. You left it on the dresser this morning". That's when he realizes he actually MUGGED Stallone ! Hysterical !!!
lol @ bad editing. You can tell that the "fall" at the end of the tackle was a much different angle and speed than would have been with the guy jumping the fence to tackle Stallone.
I remember seeing this on HBO late one night, and I was moved by its humor and realistic way it portrayed unemployent and marriage. Maybe it was the title, or the subject matter was too painful to contemplate (who wants to think of, or watch a film about being unemployed?), but I am surprised that ill-affected critics panned the film in 1975.
this is a true thing that happens! its not a chain letter! its kinda scary at first but it really works!! paste this message into 3 comments and press ALT F4 and your crushes name will appear on the screen!!! its soo wierd

So not realistic! In normal life, stallone knocks him down with one punch!

Ha! That was great! Hard to believe he could have so much trouble running those steps in "Rocky." *winks* Thanks for posting.
