I really liked the way there was a balance of cute silliness aand compelling story. It touched on subjects that the less serious anime don't generally focus on, and the problems were almost realistic (conidering the suspension of disbelief effect, thats about as realistic as I'd really like my fantasy stories to be anyway,ね:）It's been a rly long time since i've found an anime I could fall in love with! I love fushigi yuugi. It was the first anime I ever watched & the first anime that made me feel any strong emotion.. and I saw fushigi yuugi when I was younger! It will always be one of my favorite animes and I will always cherish it! -3 I love everything about it-3

I would say this is a very good anime but the ending wasn't so good I mean it was good but it would have been better if all the other came too that would have made it so much better. When tambonae was about to die he had a vision with all of them together and he was about to married miskio. If that was the ending it would have made it a very good and happy ending
