It's crazy to hear Hunter just by himself. He doesn't just play off Jade's root notes, Hunter writes an entirely independent melody to the song... unbelievable. One of the bassists I've heard, maybe not from a "technical" perspective, but he crafts unbelievable basslines.

@Lennac Exactly, a countermelody. But he was raised in Grass Valley, so I guess that explains it. If you've never been there, we have amazing bass players all over. Not ones that add unneeded stuff, ones like Hunter. I'm trying to play more like him .
