You should have had Dave Mustaine's picture behind you while playing this song. He completely wrote this song, except for the little riff that sound kinda shitty towards the end. James Hetfield could not write something so melodic, yet sad and twisted as Mustaine. Its like the "diary of a madman" of Mustaine.

Well actually Mustaine originally named the song When Hell Freezes Over (later renamed "The Call of Ktulu", and the arpeggios are used note for note as chords "Hangar 18" which was in fact written by Mustaine (along with "When Hell Freezes over"). Hangar 18 happens to be quite a popular song that was used in the well known Guitar Hero II video game. I'm sure he does play it quite often at gigs, as he did write a significant part of the song.
