I had this operation on 11th December, I was in intensive care for 2 days and on morphine for 4 days, I wont put anyone off, at the timeI was saying I wouldnt have had it done if I had known what I had to go through, three weeks on, I am a lot better, and I am assured I wont lose the use of my arms

Its painful, but its essential to have it done if the alternative is paralysis. To anyone facing this op, have it done.

In six months I have to go and have it done again, lower in my back.
