  • i love this video!! thank you! question: what's that you're using in the spray bottle?

  • @kayBare90 thanx for watching...conditioner & water

  • hey love d hair!! u must be a west indian! where u from?

  • black hair is like a plant. you have to nourish it, water it, and love it. it's a beautiful thing!

  • I'm in the process of growing my hair out, so I still have relaxed ends. How will this affect the way it locks, and the way it looks too??

  • @hypurple99 the relaxed ends won't coil...any hair that is not combed will lock eventually

  • How long does it take for this to lock up?

  • @J90lude locking time depends on the texture of ones hair...if u wet it n don't comb it, I think it will lock quicker though

  • Finally!!! I found someone that shows the technique of doing finger coils from start to finish. Your hair looks soooo beautiful. I wear finger coils too, and I was wondering could I wet my hair in the sink like you did, and how would it effect my coils, Well, I saw that your coils looked great, so I know my will look great too. Thanks for the video. Keep them coming!!

  • @my4hair thanx, happy growing

  • Beautiful twists :-)!!!!

  • @thisizme82 thanx, happy growing

  • @thisizme82 thanx

  • You are INSPIRING!!!!!

  • @coolflexa thank you

  • can someone do a single strand twist on long hair?.

  • @tentengen depends on how long the hair and the amount of shrinkage you get, so it's basically trial and error

  • very nice

  • the music in this vid! respect

  • Coils look very nice! I actually sleep with a bonnet opposed to a scarf, they are not flattened in the morning and require very little prep....

  • @MsNrock06 thanx...mine were flattened on whatever side I slept on, so I wore the scarf to apply even pressure to my whole head, as opposed to only one side being flat

  • What is the name of the second song? I MUST HAVE IT!! =) by the way, your coils were beautiful!! =)

  • @johnl805 What Wouls It take by Jah Cure

  • how long does this style last?

  • @dapinkbrat23 IMO it can last for like 2 weeks depending on how well u maintain it

  • Where I can buy these products you mention ? thanks

  • @raulyaleseaman online you can get everything...I got them from several places, the gel is at Sally Beauty Supply

  • Muito bom !

    Gostei !!!!!

  • @HADOX13 thank you

  • how many months natural are you on this video? i love the coils im 4 months post my BC and i find myself doing the coils when im sittingin the living room watching tv and my hands are free i begin to play in my hair and coil it...but never really put in the time to do it as a style! i love yours so im inspired to try it now and take my time with it this go round! lol thanks

  • @naturalchik thanx...not sure how many months, but my hair was about 3 inches long

  • @naturalchik I don't remember, but my hair was about 3-4 inches long

  • I have locking and twist gel, can I use that to do that ? Someone told me it don't work.

  • @draeday22 only way is to try...Ecostyler worked for me...goodluck

  • @draeday22 That depends on what kind of type hair you would use it on.. i got that same twist gel, so i can tell it worked on my hair when i made thin twists but with thicker one's its more dificult to keep the twist in it.. and i got that ludacris type of hair if you know who that is ..

  • i think this is gonna be a good look for me.

  • i tried this style for the first time a couple days ago, and i must say i love it more than the 2strand twist. can a twist out be done with this style? PS: u look FAB!

  • @PrincessKanaC thanks...a twist out can be done by carefully separating each coil into two...congrats and happy growing

  • Go ahead and post another inspiration =) I love rocking my little ole coils =)

  • I did it...I did the big chop this October 1st that just passed. Two days later...I braided my front end into a cornrowed crown and followed your tutorial to make finger coils all over the back of my head. I thank you for posting this video. You are my inspiration. I absolutely love my look. Keep on doing what you do and let you light shine =)

  • @gotsnoluv4ya :D YAY, u may have inspired me to actually post another video lol...thank you and happy growing

  • ur beautiful<#

  • @MrMrshakur thank you

  • I LOVE ....IM GONNA TRY IT IN THE AM! THANX

  • @MultiCreativeme yay, make a video

  • make another video would like to see your hair now, but still this is the best video on utube for single strand and it's almost 2yrs old......cheers...

  • i dont know my hair texture..but yours looks like mine!! what is yours?

  • @Chocolatee16 I have several curl patterns and a coarse texture, my mother's hair looks very similar to mine in curl pattern but her hair is very soft so looking at someone's hair is only one factor in determining whether something will work for you...I suggest trial and error as far as styling and products to get your answer...happy growing

  • 1. This style is cute on you

    2. Whats the music playing?

  • I think I have found the one style I can start my new look with that appears very easy to do... thanks for having this video. By the way...how much time elapsed from the first twist until the last if you can recall?

  • @gotsnoluv4ya thank u, I think it took between 1-2 hrs I honestly don't remember...I may have answered this in a comment or 2 a long time ago more accurately...but I have a big head so you hv to factor that in LOL...Happy Growing

  • @heartSLB Revolution by Dennis Brown

  • I do mine the same way with basically the same result. Very nice.

  • @totallypervy maybe 4a/b...but every head is different so usually only trial and error will tell how well a style/technique/product will work...happy growing

  • i love dennis brown :) just for that vid is liked

  • are u married lol jk im only 17

  • Subscribe to me to please. Love this video.

  • Girl, I just tried it, it didn't work. I guess I have to wait until my TWA gets longer. Its about 2 inches. I did something wrong, but dont know what. I followed the way you did yours, I guess my son thought I was crazy, running from the bathroom to my computer. Well, maybe next Saturday I'll try it again.

  • i well do it

  • YOU GO GIRL, I JUST SUBSCRIBED AND I WILL DO THIS TODAY. THANKS, YOUR TWIST LOOKS GREAT. :)

  • You have totally changed the way I plan to maintain my short natural hair. This is definitely doable for me. I have cut my locs almost a yean ago and have had a tough transition growing it back. I just wanted to restart and ware different natural styles. You made this so easy and simple. I will not be paying a hairdresser again until it gets too long for me to manage myself. Thanks for the simplicity. What was the first product you put on?

  • @Darryl2275 products list is at the beginning of the video...the first product was the Giovanni Leave-in...you do not hv to use the same exact products, basically clean hair, a moisturizer/leave-in that doesn't flake with gel, and a gel w/ good hold...happy growing

  • @rwill117 thanks!

  • @rwill117 how many inches does your hair have 2 be to comb twist?

  • wont they unravel if they get wet

  • @esco21tube nope

  • @esco21tube it depends on the hair texture because mine will and I have 3b

  • @jackofalltrades82 I thought the same thing because I have a few that got wet recently and they havent unraveled fully but they are lil loose at the roots, so I just let it lock the way it is

  • how much u charge

  • hi. nice twist. what is your hair type?

  • @sherri54 whatever type it looks like LOL...I say mainly 4a, but I like to call it regular black people hair :)

  • what was in the bottle that you sprayed on your hair in the morning ?

  • @itsMZMONEy conditioner and water

  • Very Creative i like it..

  • Love this video . . . I think i'm gonna attempt my first set of finger coils. God . . . wish me luck lol. It looks pretty easy

  • long story: this was like right after my BC(big chop)...I had transitioned(grew out my relaxer) for 1 yr before cutting...I had to cut off heat damaged hair and ended up w/ 3-4 inches(stretched) in this video...I was upset bc I could hv just BCed at 6-8 months instead of 1 yr

  • how much months is your hair at this point?

  • did dat shit yurself. yu good. yu need 2 teach my bois how 2 twist dey own dreads so i aint got to. lol

  • Thats very pretty on you, Whats the second song?

  • @shesobreezy Yeah I wanna know the name of that song too . . . i've heard it before, but i can't remember the name of the artist.

  • @MsPrettiBrown Jah Cure "What Will It take"

  • @shesobreezy Jah Cure "What Will It take"

  • wowses.. ur good sis!

  • Damn girl ur cute

  • I LOVE it! Super cute style!!!! Thanks for sharing!

  • great job. had me rockin wit DB!..lol love this song

  • that was nice. im just starting off growing my hair. i like how you did it. cost efficient as well.

  • i wish i could do this but i have white hair so i just straighten it

  • @xeatsrainbowsxoxo LOL, poor thing...I guess the closest would be setting the hair on tiny perm rods or a straw set...but then, since ur hair is straighter, u wouldn't be able to wet it bc water would only take the curl out...but this is just one style, I'm sure u will find other styles u will like that work with ur hair type

  • Where can you find Giovanni Direct leave in conditioner, and Mastey Restore Shampoo. I want to make a mixture to moisturize my hair so can you tell how much of each product you use to mix the mixture. I have been looking for a good conditioner that will mix well with eco styler olive gel. Thanks

  • aren't those dreads

  • wow your hair looks even better the next morning

  • wat did yu spray in your hair

  • real cute i love it :o)

  • I need to try the finger coil on twa because a two strand won't hold up. LOL

  • @Greatersend definitely try it as an alternative

  • @rwill117 So, I tried it on some sections of my hair and it's waaaay better. Finger coils looks better on twa.

  • @Greatersend Yay! Glad it worked out :)

  • u did a damn good job baby without a comb, nice, u dont have to wet it every morning though,u can just fluff it out

  • @locsdred thank u...fluffing out, on my hair, does not keep the defined look, it gives this style frizz

  • @rwill117 what's the name of the oil/gel you used to twist your haar ???

    btw great vid.

  • u did a damn good job baby without a comb,nice

  • how long would you think your hair would have to be to start these coils?

  • @BlaccAndYellow I say bout 2 inches at least since I did these by hand and not a with a fine tooth comb...I've seen comb coils on hair shorter than 2 inches though...my hair was like 3-4 inches long in the vid

  • thanks for posting this with such great music! I love this styling option for natural hair. Looks permanent yet temporary for versatility!. Awesome!

  • Great vid....you definately have skills without a comb. I know this video is 1 year ago, but you inspiring me with my journey. Are you locking?

  • @Supa6Fly it is how many people start locs...however, u would hv to leave it in for months for the hair to loc, for me it was a short term style option since I don't plan on locing

  • @rwill117 Oh ok....well it sure did look great on you!

  • VERY NICE, Faved!!

  • your hot

  • Very cute coil style!

  • Nice!

  • Very nice and beautiful my sista. Pe@ce and bLeSsInGs

  • In the morning routine, what did you spray on it?

  • I love this style!! Thanks for sharing I am 3 months post BC so I want to try this now to see if if will work. I tried last month and NO NO NO!! Your hair looks like the same length as mine so we'll see what happens. Thanks for sharing

  • Goddamn girl how the hell you do all dat there without much... My hair iz about the same length as yours in this video here and I don't know how to use the comb and I aint spendin' 60 bucks to get my twists done by no loctician, I juz wanna know how to do it like you cuz its clever... Oh yea by the way you are very very beautiful too

  • Hi I just got mine done exactly the same, but they didnt give me much info on how to take care of them. Could you give me any info on how taking care of them, what kinda products i might need for them, and how long they take to lock.

  • @trepit14 the products I used are listed in the video...I didn't loc my hair, it was just a style...the maintenance process was basically they end of the video...youtube has a lot of people who document their locing journey so u will get a lot of info from them, just type something like (loc maintenance) and u will find a lot

  • the back look freshhh as hell bruhh

  • shes sexy and fresh hair stylle

  • I'm gonna try this soon. Thanks for sharing

  • PLEASE ORDER SASSY SWAG SILK HAIR WRAP...

  • wat up cutie. im diggin yo style : ]

  • How long does it take you to complete this style?

  • did u do this in wet or dry hair?

  • @meluvself I believe it was damp bc I had just washed it...and I believe I sprayed it along the way to keep it damp
