@AL00ZER I agree about the effort part. CGI isn't that far yet. But consider this a reflection of the average viewer's opinion of CGI's current developmental status. No matter how hard it was, it doesn't look good at all. We are spoiled with real life, we have expectations no less than reality. A homemade computer from nothing is an amazing accomplishment that, unfortunately, nobody will be interested in. Seeing someone building one is different though. But still, this is far from perfection.
