I play this piece on the most primitive tuning on 6-string Hawaiian guitar ever:

G, so: G-B-D-G-B-D.

Since 1960 Rudi became a friend of mine but he never gave me lessons. Once I played 'Tickling the strings' on my guitar and Rudi on ukelele. That was fun! At that time he made a remark from which I concluded that he (perhaps) used this tuning:

D, B, G, E, D and B (or G). But I am not shure.
