  • rofl <3

  • Its the jew claw!!!!!!!

  • is he a koga nija or a bujinken

  • I really respect Bussey. For a while when I was younger he was looked at as an slight outcast because from what I remember he had started with the Iga Society and then when he became of a higher teaching rank, it was said that he went off on his own and was not following the tradition... I disagree because any adjustments he may have made are still extremely effective, which was the purpose of Ninjustu in the first place. Effectiveness to impose a will of sorts, whatever that may be at the time.

  • :30...if that was me and he did that in real life i would kill my self to stop the pain XD (jk)

    btw> great video 5/5

  • i feel sorry for the poor guy who had to volunteer as this guys opponent!

  • When I was in RBWI, whenever anyone said "please don't hurt me" the response was usually something like "Oh, I WILL hurt you. I won't INJURE you, but this is definitely going to hurt."

  • You won't believe this, but I studied with Robert Bussey in 1978-1980. He was and still is a master of his craft.

  • I had the the chance to train with Mr.Bussey for three years 02-05 under his new system "Bussey Style" and took some private lessons, those three years were better then the the prevously 5 years of other martial arts training`

  • this is REAL ninjutsu

    NOT ninjItsu fake shit!!

  • Yup, Ninjutsu is pretty much using tools to your advantage and tricking your opponent.

  • I remember one of the rare instances Mr. Bussey was forced to tapout while sparring one of his students. I believe it was one of the cops in the class who ended up pulling Robert's T-Shirt over his head like in hockey & ended up using the shirt to choke him out. Bussey taught that anything could be used as a weapon. While its unlikely you would have a throwing star on you when attacked he showed that you could apply many objects the same way, such as a rock or your keys or whatever was handy.

  • A Ninjutsu master (I think the last official one alive) once said "There is no honor in fighting" meaning that there is no such thing as fighting 'cheap'. I have issues with that philosophy but I am trying to work towards it... I nearly let someone kill me a few months ago because I didn't want to hurt him... How sad... right?

  • first there are a lot of real ninja master's alive. Mr. Bussey, is only one of many. i would direct you to the kanji that make's up the ideogram for Ninja ( nin- endure & ja-practioner of) that you survive is a testament to your strenght, endure...gambatte

  • Shuko have a lot more uses then the ones shown. I'm not talking about climbing either.

  • Please Somebody Knows Where i can find others videos of Mr.Bussey?thanks

  • The only source for his professional videos is now Century Martial Arts. They bought out Panther Productions (the producer of these tapes) and converted many of the titles to DVD. I purchased all the DVD's from Bussey's collection (both the Ninjutsu series and the RBWI series) as backup to the videos I bought 20 years ago. You will ocassionally find his stuff on Ebay too.

  • Jesus Christ, the guy is faster than bruce lee... At first, I thought that the film was getting speeded, but it was really real! Sick!

  • Sorry for the typo in the post above. I intended to say 20+ years and fat fingered the keyboard. Togakure-ryu had a typo too, oops.

  • He did Ninjutsu and was one of Hatsumi's early American instructors. These videos were shot in 1987 after he began to modify and adapt Ninjutsu to make it more effective. I have dozens of videos from 20= years traininmg with Mr. Bussey. Many are pre 1984 where he is clearly still practicing traditional Togakure-ryun Ninjutsu.

  • Yea I know you see I went to his school here in omaha in the early 80's but I hate to tell you no matter what it was still Ninjutsu and yes he closed it later but as you see I'm his former student and as for his own the only thing he really didn't teach was the philosphy and some other stuff but the fighting techniques were Ninjutsu.

  • Nekode "cat claws"......meow......meow......rrrrrr

  • Nekote were small claws on individual fingers... broken sword and yari tips attached to leather rings. These are shuko, a togakure ryu specialty.

  • Actually you need to go back to school it is ninjutsu as your read the other comments he no longer has a school of ninjutsu.

  • Yea, do to his changes he stopped calling it Ninjutsu a few years later and changed it into RBWI and ended RBWI in '97, what is left has became PPC and RWTB

  • This tape was part of a series produced by Panther Productions in 1987. Mr. Bussey no longer runs a commercial school.

  • where can i find this guys dojo? im interested in ninjutsu and would like to find one
