  • cucu

  • they are like saying… whats that?????

  • i more like a hunter walking in the forest and a cuckoo sings.

  • @AkainuAokiji Ummm wrong song lol thats peter and the wolf lol.

  • lol I wonder why the strings weren't notified of the Clarinet.

  • @Kanako123 Probably they were but they were just only acting for a dramatic effect on the audience.

  • @dawg00000 they can't play classical music properly as much as white people can't play jazz music properly

  • @LloydApplebaum THAT'S RACIST

  • @LloydApplebaum No. Just no. A slap in the face to George Gershwin and many people in the roaring 20's, who made Jazz acceptable in big symphony houses and socials. No. Music bonds, it never brakes.

  • This piece always makes me laugh for some reason.

  • I love, LOVE, how the musicians look like they're having the time of their lives. It adds to watching it.

  • the clarinet is backstage. all the violinists are like wtf where is it coming from? XD XD the chinese won is like looking above like wtf is that coming from?!??! XD XD XD i love the clarinet

  • Delightful...

  • strange and beautiful :)

  • Aw, they don't show the clarinetist. D:

  • ah ah saint-saens is a genius!

  • This is what we did at our concert except we had two clarinets and put one on the catwalk above the stage and one behind the audience. It was SO much fun!

  • ROFL!!! All the strings are like "where is the clarinet coming from?"

  • @enVme731 lmao thats funny. clarinet and flute are like the bands violins. Lots of ppl choose to play them.

  • ...Did somebody sneeze when the music started?! XD

  • One of my favourite parts of the whole Carnival.

  • Saint-Saens states in the original score that the clarinetist should be offstage.

  • beatuifulllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll:D=)

  • Doesn't Janine Jensen [1st violin] look demonic at 1:43? lol

  • HOW do you guys play this with a straight face? Pass this secret knowledge to me!

  • With difficulty xD

We played this today in concert orchestra and most of us were fighting to stop laughing

  • In my school orchestra, I was leader of the woodwind ... it didn't look good when I had to stop myself from laughing at the guy playing clarinet. He had a great sense of humour, so he tried to make me laugh when I was desperately trying not to ... most rehearsals wound up with everyone ignoring that whole section.

  • that clarinet guy think he slik i bet

  • the violinists looking up towards heaven as if to seach for the cuckoo is rediculous! such theatrics!

  • Was that really necessary you born ???

  • Was it really necessary for you to curse? That's pretty offensive...

  • I can only apologise, I did find

yomerito77's comment quite offensive myself, but realise me calling this person a tw*t was in very bad taste. Sorry man.

  • the clarinet hiding was deliberate - the musicians were all "looking for him"

  • This is the early version of Charles Ives The Unanswered Question. Stunning. Actually the Cuckoo is double too fast.

  • This is lovely

  • I played the Cuckoo bird in the ballet "Carnival of the animals" this brings back great memories :). Thanks for posting :).

  • omg this is awesome!! <33

  • I am doing a musical project on the carnival of the animals. And i obviously chose this one, my reason is beacause it sounds like a 1930's mafiosso movie to me. (I don't know why)

  • Haha, that's really funny you say that, 'cause it's exactly what I thought when I first heard this movement :)

  • As if to seek the elusive cuckoo, of course.

  • brilliant! such a great idea. our bass player once rolled in on his amp in a chicken suit when we pretended he wasn't coming...not quite the same though...

  • its the clarinet dude, didn't you notice he was missing?! he must be hiding some were for a joke or something. and besides you never really see the cuckoo bird, you mostly just hear them.

  • it's a cuckoo of course.

  • cuckoo!

    =D

  • Roger Moore.Perfect college English. It's exceptional. And the music creates a real feeling of the silence of the night.

  • xD yeess the saria´s song xD
