Pretentious twaddle written by a straight white christian male, narrated by a straight white christian male. Where are the people of African descent among the musicians? Or among the vast majority of musicians in these euro classical videos with very rare exceptions?
@LloydApplebaum No. Just no. A slap in the face to George Gershwin and many people in the roaring 20's, who made Jazz acceptable in big symphony houses and socials. No. Music bonds, it never brakes.
the clarinet is backstage. all the violinists are like wtf where is it coming from? XD XD the chinese won is like looking above like wtf is that coming from?!??! XD XD XD i love the clarinet
This is what we did at our concert except we had two clarinets and put one on the catwalk above the stage and one behind the audience. It was SO much fun!
In my school orchestra, I was leader of the woodwind ... it didn't look good when I had to stop myself from laughing at the guy playing clarinet. He had a great sense of humour, so he tried to make me laugh when I was desperately trying not to ... most rehearsals wound up with everyone ignoring that whole section.
I am doing a musical project on the carnival of the animals. And i obviously chose this one, my reason is beacause it sounds like a 1930's mafiosso movie to me. (I don't know why)
brilliant! such a great idea. our bass player once rolled in on his amp in a chicken suit when we pretended he wasn't coming...not quite the same though...
its the clarinet dude, didn't you notice he was missing?! he must be hiding some were for a joke or something. and besides you never really see the cuckoo bird, you mostly just hear them.

lol I wonder why the strings weren't notified of the Clarinet.
Kanako123 1 year ago
@Kanako123 Probably they were but they were just only acting for a dramatic effect on the audience.

I love, LOVE, how the musicians look like they're having the time of their lives. It adds to watching it.

Saint-Saens states in the original score that the clarinetist should be offstage.

Was it really necessary for you to curse? That's pretty offensive...

I can only apologise, I did find
yomerito77's comment quite offensive myself, but realise me calling this person a tw*t was in very bad taste. Sorry man.

the clarinet hiding was deliberate - the musicians were all "looking for him"

This is the early version of Charles Ives The Unanswered Question. Stunning. Actually the Cuckoo is double too fast.
