@SaraMlkw Thanks, Sara. That's a nice video of Will Young on your channel page. I've never heard of him before, but I will learn more about him. He's good.
This is great. I have always loved this song. I was wondering if you could make a tutorial on how to play this. My aunts wedding is in May and she wants me to play it instead of the typical here comes the bride, though it is 6 months away I would appreciate if you could do so, so that I can get it down packed.
@awolski1141 I don't think I can help you with the tutorial. That's not my thing and I haven't played it in over a year either. If you have the skill to play it all, you should be able to figure it out from the video and the tab. There's a link to the tab in the information text below the video. Sorry to disappoint you.
This is just great. I watched this a long time back. Wanted to watch it again. But couldn't find it... Had to scroll through an awfully long list, but this is worth it.
Great work, keep it up ! Love the way you play and present yourself !
youre great!!.how did u do dat?...i min,u play it really nice..a clap 4 u..can u pls send me d chords of this song i really love this song..thnx..god bless..^_^..
Thanks Mike, you've inspired me to put this into my learning. Perhaps I can continue to mangle long after you've proved competence. On second thoughts the latter is guaranteed. Thanks for the example to watch & follow, much appreciated.
The capo is my friend. I use it most often to lower the string action to make things easier on my left hand, but it does create a different and pleasing tone.
Such an humble introduction you write "So I chose not to play it well." Superbly plucked! You categorize it as mangled tunes---please continue to mangle oldwhtman!
Nothing more gratifying than the painful truth. And a special thanks to Youtube for downgrading the sound quality. Without their help my guitar might sound like it cost more than 15 bucks.
Now that I think of it, maybe I should be grateful to Youtube for sabotaging the audio. I can blame them. Please feel free to lie to me. I welcome any and all comments.
No point in thanking YouTube they don't know if they're coming or going....this place is a mess. Your music makes us forget about it for brief moments.
Sorry but that was the truth....well partly.....:-)
Thanks, Steve. I'm not sure this is really a "hard" piece for normal people. I just seem to have trouble with certain arrangements. Perhaps I'm allergic to good taste. Bill Tyers is a tasteful arranger.
ohh ! you're awesome!

I don't have anything with chords on it. But I believe it's in the key of C (without the capo), so C, F and G are the principal chords involved.

I love your guitar...can I have it?

You have good guitar taste. It's an Antonio Loriente "Marieta". It's a really nice instrument ... and it's mine and you can't have it.

Great arrangement and well played. Looks like a beauty of a guitar too. What make isit?

The guitar is a Loriente Marieta.

Mike, that was spectacularly un-terrible ;-) I like your use of the capo in some of these arrangements, it gives it a brightness. Well done

Oh I'm not through mangling by a long shot. It's just hard to pick which lovely tune to torment next. The music world is a world of great bounty.

OOo Wow!! I want to play like you some day, I worship you!

I think if you look around Youtube, you'll find guitarists who deserve you worship ... but not on this channel. But thanks for the comment.

Well done, I like the Alison Krauss version. Enjoyed it. 5*

Thanks. It was her vocal that inspired me to look for a guitar arrangement. Unfortunately for her I found one.

This is one of my favorite songs. Our band plays it regularly. Great job. I love the classical sound.

Thanks. It definitely sounds better when Miss Krauss sings though.

Nicely done Mike. It doesn't sound like a challenging song but watching you play it tells me that it's not easy. A bit out of my league.
