I understand completely!! I did the same, but I'm still with my partner, I told him the truth and he forgave me. That was 3 years ago. My point of view remains the same though, anyone who cheats can tell the mistress (or whom ever) lie upon lie to get what they want and they'd be none the wiser...it doesn't show the mistress knew of his girlfriend so every circumstance is different.
