  • very nice build, but why not placing a motor after all that effort? I'm going to pickup 2 of these today to do the mods and maybe 1 fpv.

  • How much are one of these?

  • wow way too heavy!!!!!!

    more a fall-plane than a sailplane.

  • @Lagdieb wieght has next tonothing to do with flight its the shape that matters dumb ass

  • @crimsoncreep26 actually its the wingloading so it does have a bit to do with both

  • Sorry second question was stupid

  • Great vid climb rate is sweeeet iv been converting one of these for a number of months now and just haven't found the time to finish:/ anyway two questions are you using binge cord or just rubber bands or something? And also where are you attaching the bungee cord? Is it just on the tail or have you got a hook on the bottom?

  • hey what is the brand of the micro servos?

  • you could try bungie laungsh it off a windy hill or cliff.

i made one of these, i think its rubbish, it needs power, all the motor and lipos cost too much tho. (im 15) can you tell me where exactly your center of gravity is on your fox please? thanks

  • @fasterharderstronger

Why would you think $8 for a motor and $6 for a battery is to much?

  • @TheRattleSnake3145

im in the UK, where can u find a brushless motor, speed controllor, lipos, lipo charger, delivered? for that price. although i already have a lipo charger. the cheapest esc and motor i can find are about £25/£30, include that with the price of my £15 servo i had lying around in it + £10 for the fox and £10 for the receiver, £5 for the chrystal, £6 for NiHM batterys i bought with it... £12 for new lipo... yeah not much

  • @fasterharderstronger Ok, here is my list, might help you a bit Servo HXT500 x2 $6 Receiver Orange RX $6.60 Battery: Turnigy nano-tech 370mah 3S 25~40C Lipo Pack $5.40 Motor : Turnigy 2211 Brushless Indoor Motor 2300kv $9.63 ESC: H-KING 10A Fixed Wing Brushless Speed Controller $5.66 Total US$27.29 which is about £17 or £18 I use an APC 4.75x4.75 prop with this setup on my Fox and it is very fast, full vertical msg me for where.
  • dude u lost half altitude in 2 secs...

  • it was an extremely short flight

  • hermoso¡¡¡¡ un saludo desde Guadalajara jalisco.

  • bloody hell, that went up fast, must be a very light glider :)

  • goes well what size reciever pack are you using as in which cells ?

  • Looks really sweet. What happened to the left side of the horizontal stab?

  • It went vertical - elastic was tied to a cloud

  • lol, i threw mine and the wing and top part of the plane above the wing ripped off!

  • What did you use for the bungee? I to have a fox but can't get enough height at the local slope so any suggestions would be great. Thanks

  • Nice conversion, but it looks a bit heavy on the elevator controls.. Perhaps you could change that for some light tube and 0.3mm steel wire? Still, flies great, thanks for sharing!

  • I think its Carbon Fiber tube, Incredibly light, and piano wire.
