  • you have a very nice neck

  • this is great!

  • @strawberryteddy1 thank you! grazie!

  • Showing that bass who's boss, that was rad!

  • @Leryanpassmore oh yeah! :) thank's!

  • fucking great, dude. you are my friday facebook post... !!

  • @1576sebastian thank you so much!! :) you're post make me smile this saturday! :)

  • Why so many dislikes oO?

  • I have that same bass, but i never play it.

  • The thing I love aboutt his song is that there are about 3 legitimate different ways to play this song and even when I watch Chris play it live at a muse concert I swear he switches between them all just to piss off anyone wishing to know exactly which one is the "right" one. :)

  • SLAPPAH DAH BASS MAHN!

  • @lynndabomb dafuq? wheres is theres slapping

  • @ragnaroksama type it in on youtube and it's from I love you man.

  • @lynndabomb oh i see what u did there

  • U sound like you've got the tone on that to practically mirror wolstenholme, fair play

  • very nice =)

  • Nice t-shirt :))

  • how could you get the chorus wrong....

  • how good is that markbass, and how much did it cost? does it have a master volume and gain? would you reccomend a galien kruger, or a line 6?

  • awesome cover!!! When i'm going to buy my own bass, it will be that colour, love it :D

  • Can hardly hear any bass?

  • @endaphelan93 You just have to listen closely (:

It was the same for me, but you just gotta focus in on the bass and nothing else! :P

  • one day i wish to be like you, red hot on that bass man! btw take off your description sorry if somethings wrong, nothings wrong, and anyone who says different has hearing problems!x

  • @tomwilkinson66 I am truly honored for your comment, thank you! however, does not take much to play like me! you'll find that you become very good if you believe in what you do!

  • Sweet Jesus, that's funky.

  • That bass is hot! Loved the video, you killed it. =) The closest I can get to playing this song is on Rockband, haha.

  • @seizetoday22 Thank you very much!! :)

  • Yeah I have the same t shirt!

  • Good job Brah Thumbs Up

  • @RockDoktr thank you!|

  • What settings do you have on your ODB-3?

  • @Cartoonkid111 mmh ...i don't remember, but i think

EQ: a quarter on the left to the cut

    BALANCE:a quarter after the half

GAIN: a little bit before the half

i don't have save the Equalitzation because i change it usually

  • @leniarias all that matters is the tone you want from it. I have a p bass and just from using the knob I can go from raspy and crisp so soft and smooth. I've never tried a j bass but I'd imagine that it would just be a bit more smooth. But the best bet is a p bass cause you can pretty much get any sound you want out of it

  • @RadioCircusOfficial Not sure why you're telling him what "the best bet" is when you haven't even played one of the two... but actually, the J is considered more versatile by most (including me). And, in general, they are a bit more trebley, not more smooth.

However, it all changes if you change the pickups. Fender now has the Blacktop series... the Blacktop J has two P-bass pickups, and the Blacktop P has two humbuckers. World of difference.

And of course, you can't forget the thinner J neck.

  • The 10 who don't like, look well, it makes you a fuck ;)

  • not bad

  • I love how I can't hear shit.

  • Pretty good. Although the chorus is not the way chris plays it, nor the intro to the chorus. Other than that, great! Check out my version if you like.

  • Just saw this done on a Rick, cool to hear it on a JB. Great performance!

  • good cover ) tabs or ears?

  • does anyone know the difference between a p bass and a j bass i wanna get a p bass but so far my opinion is only based on looks can someone help

  • @lennyarias Youtube will help you learn the difference. But Jazz basses have a smoother more rounded sound. Precision basses have a tighter punchier sound. P basses are more common for Rock and Metal - but there's no reason you couldn't use a J bass either if you have the right pedals. It's all up to your preference.

  • @cyke74 You and another guy commenting here are the only people I've ever heard say Jazz basses have a "smoother, more rounded sound." Jazzes are known for a somewhat thinner tone with more presence, and this has been my experience. They're a little "brighter" sounding, but still have a nice growl. The neck on a Jazz is also noticeably less chunky than a Precision, especially on the first few frets.

Personally, I prefer a Jazz body by far, with a P/J pickup combination.

  • @lennyarias J's have a little bit of a thinner neck and a growly sound with a bit more presence, compared to the punchy sound of a p-bass. You should know, however, that you can get either body style with a combination of the pickups-- usually a p in the neck position and a j in the bridge-- to get a blend of the sounds. That's what I've got, with a j body.

I honestly don't know what some of these people are talking about when they say j's have a "smoother" sound. I completely disagree.

  • That sound you've got is killer!

  • Smooth man

  • HAIR ARM

  • BLACK SABBATH SHIRT FTW

  • I just love this red guitar - it is beautifull - and I don't see myself as a fan for Fenders.

  • @nirsul thank you man!, for me it's the same! but i love fenders :D

  • @Aeroste nice bass bro. im an ibanez man myself. Good cover though man keep em coming!!!

  • watched it again, still terrible....

EQ: Un quarto a sinistra verso cut

  • @Aeroste grazie mille!

  • AWESOME DUDE REALLY IMPRESSED ME AND IM HARD TO IMPRESS

  • @jcedozer thank you so much , your comment impressed me!

  • @SPMrMo

  • @SPMrMoo and guitar players are just bass players without the skill for bass

  • @SPMrMoo Listen to this song or any song by muse or any rock band without bass and come back and say that asshole

  • @SPMrMoo Do you even play gutair no your just a nerd by the looks of your channel?

  • @SPMrMoo you are just stupid with the you tube account

  • @SPMrMoo give me some evidence to back this rediculas claim

  • @SPMrMoo lol This person has no life! xD

  • i have a problem: when i play a fast song like this on low strings 1 and 2 they hit the frett bars. what can i do to solve this problem?

  • @bobbisawesome2 strings one and two? you mean E and A? or do you mean frets one and two? either way if your strings buzz because theyre touching the fret markers its because your action is too low. depending on the bass there should be a hole where an alan key fits either on the top or bottom of the neck. find a key that fits and turn it left or right (i cant remember off the top of my head right now) until you can see that your strings are higher than before. then re tune the strings and enjoy!

  • hola?

  • I c u haz teh same problem teh i do!

When you are holding the neck of the bass, you often play with other fingers not 3rd...

and sometimes it sticks out like your showing ... 3rd finger

you know what i mean.. just watch at it :D

  • you're awesome...

  • Your fingers look like they are moonwalking :D

    Nice cover, me like

  • Dude sick bass!!!!! i love it and also great cover!!!!!

  • Im getting a bass for christmas! Im so happy!!

  • @Spartan0259 did you got it? :D

  • @brontosaurious what?:D

  • cool bass :)

  • lol wich tab you use? ^^

  • You need more views. Mind If I post the link places?

  • @paulolemus14

thanks!! :) do what you want my friend!! :D
