My Ellie acts like that, I nicknamed her "Tweaker".

She's maybe 7 or 8 weeks old. But she's a little chunker. I have always found that male rats get bigger faster and are normally pretty large so that guy would called your rats fat you shouldn't yell at them maybe he was being nice but in a cute way :)

Very nice videos w/ your raties. Lola seems to be the first to do things like jumping or walking over bridges and the other two follow. This video is nice to,I like the way he wants that ball. My guy has got lazy and today I put a shell nut in a hollow cardboard tube like the ones papor towels come in but the hole is 1/2" round. He chewed for about five min and then managed to tip it up so the nut came down and out of the tube and hit him on the nogen(forhead). Thanks for your video.

@sady4u my rat died but i agree with u how would u get your rat to play around with u and all my rat does is sleep east poop and go to sleep again and then it dies/freezes :(

@saborclaw12 If you make comments like that then you obviously dont know much about rats! He was infact underweight for his age and type and very ill. Snoop was tiny so Marley will look bigger. But if you have nothing nice to say then dont say anything at all! Its rude

My two males aren't very playful-I can pick Roscoe up easily and hold him and he doesn't fuss, but he'd rather just snuggle or try to hide in my shirt than play, and Nic won't let me pick him up at all without struggling and squealing, though I've had him almost as long as Roscoe and they've both been handled about the same amount by me, since I've had them since they were babies.

My boy use to be just like this. He loved to play and give me kisses. Then he suddenly went from that to mean. He has bitten me 6 times in total, causing me to bleed like crazy. I'm guessing he's hormonal, but it still sucks. I can hardly take him out to play now. My parents want me to give him away, but I can't I love the little bastard too much lol

Snoop has always been like that as a baby, my others are playful but not as much and some boys i have dont want to play and just explore really, it all depends on their personality

I was wondering if mine would like that kind of toy or if they would just demolish it in no time...

they are pretty good at that kind of stuff...new hammock destroyed voila!

Lol, cheap tops and blankets make the best toys for them, i used to pay alot for hammocks but having holes makes it more comfortable for them lol, so i make my hammocks now with tea towels and clips, they have a box of blankets too that they can destroy :D

Snoop is very playful in this video, my favourite one i think :) Cat teasers are always fun, my girls want to get the bell off lol
