I was so angry when Ozzy lost. Yul's "Super-Idol" gave him a free ticket to the finals. Ozzy HAD to work hard in every single challenge otherwise Yul would've gotten rid of him.

Terry from Panama had the first Super-Idol but luckily he was was so dominant in challenges. He finished 3rd and without it he would've finished 4th.

Without the idol, Yul couldn't have convinced Penner and would've finished 9th. With the idol he ended up winning...

That's why they changed the rules from Fiji onwards

Okay so then Tom Westman was a super strategist was he? Fabio was deeeefinately a smart guy..... I'm just stating my opinion. I think the jury favoured Yul because he was older and would be more responsible with the money ( note Penner's jury speech).

If I was on the jury, I would have voted for Ozzy, merely because he worked a lot harder.

Besides, you don't have to win to be a good player. So much of survivor is luck. 2nd, 4th and 9th is pretty decent if you ask me.

@MrBen51309 I didn´t say hes a bad player because he didn´t win. ozzys strategies never worke. Everything hes planning always ends up with him being blindsided or voted out. All he is is being good at physical things, but thats not what survivor is about. If you are voting for Ozzy then you are not voting for a sole survivor, you are voting for an athlet. If he played in a game thats abou winning sport contest, I would love to vote for him. but in the game of survivor he just sucks.

survivor should had gave both of them 1.mil since they also offer rup a mil on the all star season. And to be honest, rup doesnt really deserve it apart from being likeable. The mil should be awarded to ozzy!!!

Yul really didn't start strategizing until Candice and Jonathan mutinied to the other tribe.

Then their tribe stuck together because of the mutiny. Yul had an alliance with the 2 defectors.

And its hilarious how Nate and the gang decide to vote out Brad before Jonathon and Candice. Then Nate goes on crying that Jonathon is a rat.

Please, Nate you had a chance to kick out the 2 mutineers and you didn't. You kicked out the Asian guy for a comment.

Yul deserved to win. Not only did he excel in strategy but he also excelled in strength competition. That's what Survivor is all about. Outwit, Outplay and Outlast baby.

I would have been happy with yul or ozzy winning. Yul dominated stratigically, but ozzy sure kicked ass in the challenges. Becky never had a chance.

Ozzy's a nice guy, but Yul was definately a better STRATEGIC player. It's a strategic game, if it was a physical game, Ozzy wins them all, but it's not.

So, Yul deserved it all, IMO.

Strategists aren't necessarily better than challenge monsters. I think challenges are often overlooked. Not everybody has the benefit of having an alliance to cooperate with them plus Yul had the hidden idol so of course his tribe would listen to him and not Ozzy. I wanted Oz coz he practically made it to the end almost on his own.
