There, you can get free tuning notes. Tune it. It sounds like a dying cow, and it's much to nice of a guitar to sound that way.
Please stop using a pick. It sounds decent for some stuff, but definitely not RHCP.
Next, look up Jaco Pastorius, if you've never heard of him. Then Victor Wooten. Then Bill Dickens. Then John Myung and his song:freeport jam. That's the stuff you should be trying to play. Michael Manring owns, too.
First off .. u played it wrong ... second, tune ur bass. third, get a better cam. Fourth, Do you actually listen to your self play before putting it on the web?? srsly. nice try but no cigar. ... the second scale is a step down it just sounds totally wrong (in the chorus the second set of notes u play)
ahh theres nothin that annoys me more than someone who thinks their guitars in tune and it so clearly isnt!!dear god buy a tuner or somethin if you cant do it any other way!!
Please, tune your bass. I might have learned the song from tabs or something but it sounds horrible because you're bass is more than half steps out of tune.
Fuck the no-pick shit. Some of the best players around played/play with a pick. Stop this "Bassist Pride" bullshit. All that fuckin matters is the sound. And this guy's got a good attack for this song. So no dissing.
mate you suck, your bass looks shit, your might be able to play the song but your reking it, i do play bass my self i understand its a good song, but the pick ruins it, mate better luck next time,
And as far as this whole "No Picks Allowed" BS goes, Flea plays with a pick sometimes too, he got his start playing punk bass with a pick and has talked in numerous interviews recently about working more in techniques that he wasn't as familliar with, such as picking and upright. Playing with a pick isn't an insult to Flea, the insult would be to limit yourself to simply copying someone else and never growning as an artist.
umsorry to tell you mate mecheal balzary-flea stared of as jaz muso playing trumpet like his step father he didnt start bas till high skool were he met anthony keidis who was in a band their bas player suked anthony sed can you play bas as gud as you play trumpet micheal gave it a try turns out hes realy gud so he tuk up bas then gets into the punk And for all you trivier ppl out ther the chilis didnt start out as red hot chili peppers they startd out as Tony Flow and magical masters of mayhem
umsorry but fuzzburn don't even pretend to have a clue, number one his name isn't mEchEal it's michAel, true he did start off playing trumpet but hillel started giving flea bass lessons, anthony was never in a band before the red hot chili peppers except maybe spigott blister and the chest pimps which wasn't really a band, and nobody is going to be 'realy gud' first time they play an instrument they have no knowledge of! sorry to burst your bubble but you just got owned!
Uhm stop using a pick for the peppers, use that for green day, rancid, nofx. Uhm.. i didnt like it, it sounds off key on parts, also you play two notes at ones in the verse and the chorus.
You make me want to throw my bass out a window.
