And then Trevor Berbick was just barely good enough to decision an Ali that literally looked dead when he entered the ring in 1981 ha.

Tyson knocked out Berbick 5 years later, the guy who got a UD over a borderline-dead Ali.

Then he knocked out an old, fat Larry Holmes who had just come out of retirement after two years of doing absolutely nothing.

So many 80's heavies are under rated

Uhh Berbick WAS a nobody as far as i'm concerned (Koed in round 1 by Mercado LOL!) . What was his big accomplishment? Getting a 15 round decision off of an old worn out Ali? (about 21 years after Ali went pro) We know Holmes, came out of retirement to fight Tyson at almost 40 years old.

Spinks? You mean the blown up light Heavyweight that only fought 3 fighters as a heavyweight?

Actually his best opponent was Tony Tucker, which was why it took him all of 12 rounds
