@smasher285 I keep it in the DO until it is toast and then I throw it out and clean the DO. When I need to fry something I check it and if it looks burned or very thin, then it is time for new oil. It is great for the DO. I keep oil in both my DOs almost all the time. I would say my oil does not last longer than two weeks in the DO. I use it around three times depending on how much and what type of frying I do. The oil last longer if you fry potatoes and not meat.

Nice to see you back, Dave! One suggestion with the chicken, is throw some saran wrap over the chicken and flatten it, (to the thickness you desire), with a dough roller. Then trim it to the size you want. Otherwise, keep up the awesome cooking!!!
Please don't take this as criticism...but merely a suggestion...if you add some garlic, black pepper and Italian seasoning to some softened butter and spread that on both sides of the rolls...then sprinkle them with cheese and broil them open faced on a cookie sheet for a minute or two it'd add even more "bam" to your sammiches!
I was waiting for you to make one with the marinara on the bun, chicken, alfredo, parmesan and crumbled bacon and then smush it!! lol, so glad your back!
Looks like Colorado is agreeing with you Dave, I think I would toast those rolls a little with some garlic butter, but hey that me. You going elk hunting this fall? Lots of good eats of an elk.
