you can just see the fraction but if you want to star a campaign with it it doesn't work

I GOT A FIX HOW TO AVOID THE "access is denied"

simply save the "descr_strat.txt" on your desktop when you have finished the adjustments, now delete the real "descr_strat.txt" in the total war folders and replace it with the one you saved on the desktop!

Well the unlock works but when i chose ( an example) the slaves he don't show where i must start so i can't play the factions what do i have to do?

I found a solution to this while experimenting of how i could get that away too, cuz it also happened to me!

You hace NO acces to save it in the folder, so try:

Do what he says in the video, save it in another place like desktop!

Then drag the txt file to the imperial_campaign folder.

i do everything and when i am in the game i click on imperial campaign and it says i must choose a file and nothing else i cant enter into campaings... help me please

@Kiseli1996 You may have to re stall the game. the same thing happened to me as well and that's what i did and i did what he did and it worked for me

@LegoDoty666 Yeah but if you notice when they click it says no description, but the game won't actually play play. Sure you can click it, but it won't allow you to play fully, if it does, it'll crash soon enough. If you want, reinstall or clear up any screw arounds. Download the newst SPQR mod, you can be those with new textures and stuff. It's fun!!!

Can you do this with Barbarian Invasion because I want to play as the Romano-British but they dont come till the Romans get kicked out of Britian.

@thebritish25 youu can't play as romano british.the game will crash because romano british have no settlement at the beginning.they apear after an roman-saxon battle and then they may attack one settlement and get it,bt at first they are inexistent

@scott1is1god, dont know if this is too late, but, save the file to your desktop, delete the original, then drag the file into the folder. Hope this helps.

@crazyscreamfan2 But you can't get all the factions by just killing them. This is the only way.

It helped, but only for Macedon and Pontus, all the other factions just fail and bug.

if you have been messing about with the coding one letter wrong and your fucked get a copy of the codes you have changed and replace then start again

you get the playable factions (other then the romans) by conquering them

no when you win the game you get the other playable factions thats it

no trust me if you conquer a civilization thats playable (which means conquering all their towns or killing their family members in battle i think) you can play that faction.

I just downloaded RTW on my new computer and i can play as the greeks but on my roman campagne i havnt gotten to the marian times, so i clearly couldn't have won.
