Personally, you said it and it sticks. Reading all these naysayers, i feel a bit sorry for the narrow outlook and hope that you can do it. The music business has been going downhill for a long time and until really talented, creative people get a chance to be heard, it will remain stagnant.

We need new blood, new songs and a new twist to bring the American music business up to the level of the European or even the Canadian level. The naysayers need to spend time listening to what is out here ..

@15expressyourself I still cannot get past the meat suit...I didn't like GAGA before and she sealed the deal with that! The only reason she has collaborations with people of high status is it is the jobs of the managers to keep things "fresh". I find it hard to believe all of these people begged for her number and called her up to make a deal. It is HOLLOWOOD baby!

I know what you're saying Alisa. As a guitarist, I'm bored to death with the style, or lack there of, of todays young guitar players. I'm from the Eddie Van Halen school, where you push the envelope. I wonder if these guys today even know what a guitar solo is. When my band gets done a set, I get a great response to my playing because to many listeners today haven't heard that style of playing. Todays music has been dumbed down tio appeal to the masses. Be true to you, not to them!
