That's how the system works. Look at this case, he DIDN'T do it.

Depending their criminal background they are given the option of bail or not.

If he wouldn't have had eighty thousand in cash he wouldn't have been out.

This reminds me of the Dean Koontz book, INTENSITY, where this girl, Chynna Shepard saves this other girl from this serial killer who looks like Mr. Rogers to the outside world. This is wrong. He did this to many other people---something is wrong with the system when someone who has money can rape and kill people.

I agree he shouldn't have been set free and there shouldn't be any bail. I'm sure many other Americans feel the same way about cases like this. About the guns, we like them or they would already be gone.

The reason he was let out on bail, is because our judicial system is the best and everybody is INNOCENT until proven guilty.

As it turned out to be. The girl made all that up, the guy was innocent, and the pizza man is in jail for beating up his wife.
