@JasonAndChloe Are you using the stock 1GIG of Ram or did you upgrade to 2gb? I am thinking of ditching starter or dual booting it.

@dwillford No we havent upgraded the RAM on the netbook but we find it still works better and faster than starter!

when you installed windows 7 ultimate on your Acer aspire one were your drivers still there and was the acer erecovery management there two because im thinking of installing ultimate on mine but im scared if my drivers will go away like acer erecovery management and my default drivers that came with it like the factory setting defaults and i want to know if you still had your factory default drivers when you installed ultimate??.....

@frosty I dont know why it doesnt show the new loading screen, I use the same image on my desktop and it did have the logo.

@JakobFe yes I am currently dualbooting Win 7 Ultimate and a Linux distro as well. It works perfect.

Whats with the vista loading screen.... Windows 7 has the glowing orbs.

@frosty9595 acer aspire one has the vista loading screen due to the limited graphics... so it wont have the glowing orbs like you said

There are a lot of windows 7 tweaks you can do for a little better performance. It still pretty good.
