I am a lefty so that made it even more difficult to follow. Your instructions are fantastic! I did it the first time I watched your video. I just reversed sides to do it left handed. Thank you for yiur easiky understandable demionstration and even the classical music in the background was a nice touch...I have been a crocheter for 34 years, but had never learned this method, tried to watch other videos, etc..but yours is by far the best,!
The white yarn is called a guide yarn. It is to help keep the loops in order when the strip is removed from the loom. Not necessary but sure makes it easier to keep track of the loop direction and marking the right side of the strip.
