  • which one was at 2:40? i know its listen but i want to know which one it is

  • @brandini555 Wait For the Wagon.

  • thanks

  • Isn't this great? The tune at about O:45 is the White Cockade, an old Jacobite rebellion song improved by Robert Burns. There is a great vocal of it by two Scotsmen, The Corries. Type in their name and White Cockade on Ytube. I promise you won't be wasting your time!

  • can some1 give me the sheet music for it??

  • Well, us Rebs never said you Yankee boys couldn't hold a good tune. Well done, lads. Especially enjoyed Rosin the Beau. Salute !

  • Amazing how music can evoke the period so well, if video cameras had existed in the

1860's you could imagine this being the result!

  • Sounds great!

What's the tune that starts around 1:25, please?

  • Old Rosin the Beau

  • @the5muzos also known as "Men of the West" if you're Irish.

  • Defending the Union...with music :-)

    Love it.

  • Wait for the Wagon - Regimental March of the former RASC then RCT in the British Army.

  • Always good to hear harmony! Love it! (fifer, attened Fort Delaware Music School for two years and played with Vincent's Brigade Fife and Drums).

  • NR music is first class, the book is good. The guys in charge are solid and have a great interest in authenticity, the music they put out is clean and transcribed well.

  • Ed Kellogs is not beat to army 2/4 in that video, though certainly you could (nothing you don't already know ;-) ) it's a beating written in 2005 by old time drum guy Bob Frail who learned drums in Union Endicott Colonials under Acton Ostling, who was an old Chester Drum Corps drummer from the early 20th C.

If you would like a copy of the beating, I can pop it up on the web page.
