  • Holy shit this is the WORST commentatry I've ever heard. Get two guys who dont argue for Christs sake!!!

  • I like the old guy commentating. The younger sounding guy sounds like a prick and should shut up.

  • Most absurd commentary.

  • 11:50 fidel castro in the crowd?

  • It was a clear foul shot on 3 ball!

  • +1 for the "shot only" format, editing out idle time.

  • some good commentary for a change on a pool match

  • did this actually take place in 2009, or was that only when it was up loaded?

  • There is a reason why these two awesome players are in the finals and this match is why.

In one of the toughest tournaments in the world that test all disciplines of pool, this has to be one of the best 9-ball matches I have seen in a long time.

And I would like to see full matches also.

    Ok. Thanks. Bye.

  • wtf, why don't they ever do a close up of that other dude, cant even see his face.

  • نايس

  • I don't mind the shot only format... but if you are going to do that, show EVERY shot... even the safety play. I hate when it cuts to a shot, missing the back and forth of a good safety battle.

  • I THINK IF YOU GUYS POSTED VIDEOS OF PEOPLE PLAYING OUTSIDE OF THE PROFESSIONAL SIDE. (T.V.) AND HAD SOME MORE ACTUAL GAMBLING MATCHES UNCUT. I AM SURE POOL PLAYERS WILL AGREE. I WOULD RATHER WATCH THE PLAYER WALK AROUND THE TABLE AND LEARN FROM HOW THE PLAYER ACTS WHEN HE IS AT THE TABLE. EXAMPLE. HOW THEY LOOK AT THE TABLE, AND KEEPING COMPOSURE WHILE BEING AT THE TABLE

  • show full racks, also 30:00 think he could have played the trick shot from pool hall junkies? lol

  • shots only :D

  • Personally I like to see all (the more the better) of the match and like to hear the commentators' opinions.

  • it'd be nice if more matches were in this style. quicker and still allows ya to analyze player choices as well...

  • Vote SHOW ENTIRE VIDEO. Youtube controls now make it very easy to bump over slow areas when needed--let the viewer be the editor.

  • No, I like seeing every aspect of these matches.

  • yeah i prefer more commentary aswell lmao likeyour other vids

  • 26:35 ...only Luat and possibly Keith McCready can body english balls around the table like that ;-)

  • tight pockets on this table...

  • Pool is amazing. When Luat is shooting you pay attention. When Feijen is shooting you fall asleep. Yet they're both great players.

  • incardona is so arrogant...every time someone disagrees with him on a shot he has to mouth off somehow. whenever i see a video with incardona commentating i turn it off.

  • When it was ??

  • Thanks for uploading, and as to the vote, mine is NO - I'd rather see a match real time and complete. I'm a player myself, and don't see why some people don't have the necessary patience for this game (= NO, it's NOT as if the shots themselves were all there is to the game). There is no qualified love for the game - one either loves it or doesn't. I do. Cheers!

  • those blond tables are hideous

  • that was a foul..

  • good game till the end!

and I like the idea to show shots only, like many people here!

    Thanx BClub!

  • thanks for saving us 82 minutes, much better shots only

  • Luat really deserves to win this match. He's lost in the finals of US open and DCC 4 times, he's just due... great player, and a true ambassador of the game.

  • Shots only is the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • 9ft X 4.5ft

  • GET THE CHALK OFF!!!

  • niels da cry baby hahaha

  • The match is so great!

  • Snoocker? Snooker!

  • snooka

  • Danny knows allot more than you think, just because he is a few years older you're passing judgement. I have been playing for 30 years - that was a bad hit all the way (you know the shot). - peace!

  • um...maybe because they're commentating....

  • I have enjoyed this video many times.

It's a nice change from listening to old men chatter.

Plus we know the positioning already and half the time they are just guessing or saying what they'd do. They would lose is what they would do.

    This video rocks. 10/10.

Show me another video with as many cool shots.

  • Billy Incardona and Danny Diliberto are both hall of famers in one pocket. Danny is also a straight pool world champion and Incardona beat Efren getting the 8 and the break in 9 ball. Ofcourse they would lose they're old, but they are very knowledgeable players. It is a little easier to appreciate expert commentary in one pocket than in nine ball though if you know anything about that game, it's what the pro's consider the toughest game in pool.

  • i wish they would've presented this video in the normal format. I love listening to the commentators analyze the positioning, and watching the players take stock of their next move. It makes me feel much more connected to the match, more so like I was actually there, or witnessed the entirety circumstances which led to the result.

  • I want to apologise. I hurried to comment about the comercials before looking at the uploader of the video.I didn't see till now that BilliardCLUB is the uploader. Please excuse my foolish burst and feel free to delete my comments. Thank you for all your videos and wish you only the best.

  • you cut parts of the game but you leave the comercials on?... tricky

  • Thats exactly what i thought

  • To bad I'ts shot only, can't say I'ts worth seeing when you edit out much of the important stuff. Like a trailer for a movie.

  • Bad comparison. It's like taking the opening and ending credits out of a movie. And the scenes that didn't make the cut. Kinda like they do now...Oh yea, that's called deleted scenes.

  • Well my bad I shouldn't have compared it with a trailer because then you came with an even worse comparison, this isn't a movie, I'ts a sport event! Let the viewers decide what they like or atleast give them the chance

  • .. continued.. to get the full picture (if you get my point..) with commentary and all. I've enjoyed the other format so much but not like it is now.

  • I'm not getting bent out of shape about it. It's just my personal preference to watch the shots rather than the commentary. I play a LOT of pool and don't care what the commentators say. I know what shot they have to do, I just want to see them do it.

  • I like the shots only. Who gives a shit about what the commentators are saying. If you want to learn how to shoot pool, get into a pool hall.

  • Terrific learning tool if the commentators are good, though - I mean, anyone disinterested in listening to the wisdom of old age may feel free to turn the sound off, no? ;^)

  • I personally can't stand watching them walk around the table for a minute or two thinking about the shot. When a program is broadcast on TV, the players have a shot clock. If there is a tough shot, then they call for an extension. This way it goes quickly. I like it that way....so to make up for it, when there isn't a shot clock, I like shots only.

Atleast it wasn't Johnny Archer shooting. We would have to watch him pick lint off the entire time.

  • so so bad jeans for luat, after this final he can buy new i think

  • shots only sucks. if "most viewers aren't hardcore fans [of pool] and would rather see shots only" -- what do you care? i don't think it should matter what people who aren't big fans of pool want to see. you should be doing this for people who are big fans of pool, so that we can watch the entire matches and learn from them. are you getting money if more people watch these free videos on youtube or something? it doesn't make sense.

  • agreed

  • would much rather NOT have shots only. I want to see the entire rack, including their approach, etc.

  • don't like this shots only craic

  • The majority of voters clearly want to see and hear more of the match. No problem.

But, based solely on performance, this video holds viewers longer, for longer periods of time than any of the other match videos. We believe it's because most viewers are not hardcore fans and would rather see the shots only. The statistical information on this video proves this point without a doubt.

Unfortunately, you can not have it both ways. Regardless, enjoy

    Thanks for watching

    More to come....

  • @BClub Not me, I just want to see the match. I dont care about all the other bullshit inbetween.

  • OK, but here is the BIG question: if you go with NO shots only, does that means you will be cutting out numerous racks throughout the match to squeeze it all into 1hr (as most of the other videos are?). I would rather see every rack shots only than miss half the match completely.

  • Yes, it's pretty much one or the other.

  • I can't dig the shots only format, and am glad to see i'm not alone. I can't finish this video.

  • No to "Shots Only". Yes to at least one new video per week!! Also bring back the "Watch in High Quality" option!!!!!

  • or even 1 every 2 weeks

  • i would have rather watched the match for 2 hours. i think strategy really plays a huge part in 9-ball and that's what I want to learn from these vids ! NO FOR SHOTS ONLY FORMAT !! =D

  • NO for shots only. I agree with TomMoresi

  • NO shots only, no arguement NEW VIDEO MORE OFTEN!!!!!!!!!! 1 new video every 2 weeks..Twice a month..perfect

  • NO for the "Shots Only"

  • Vote No for the shots only format like to hear the commentary and how to play shots along with the overhead shots explaining strategy.

  • can anyone explain "to do a push" in a few words, please? --> quod vide 19:00

playing the two ball when the one ball is still on the table? i beg your pardon?!

  • Immediately after the break shot the player at the table may call a "push-out", and may then shoot the cue ball to any location on the table (not into a pocket in which case the player must continue shooting, nor off the table which would be a foul), without incurring a foul for failure to hit the lowest-numbered ball on the table, and then control of the table passes to the other player. The incoming player has the choice of accepting the table as it lies, or forcing the pushing-out

  • .........player to take the next shot. Only one push-out is allowed per game, and it must be immediately after the break. The ideal push-out shot is one that the opponent will believe likely to be makeable, and will accept, but fail to actually make, giving control of the table back to the pusher-out, and which the pusher-out is confident to make if forced to do so.Thus, nine-ball players aim for a push-out that has about a 50/50 chance of being accepted or returned. • well, thank you! it's a strange rule in my opinion, but thanks a lot nonetheless! :)

  • fejien is a real lucky player

  • yes for shots only format

  • I vote NO for shots only and all yes's got the 8 out thnaks and have a nice day and BCLUB if u could upload a match like 1 every two weeks it would be nice cuetable uploads more vids than u do and other ring games would be nice too

  • I vote NO for the "Shots Only" format.

  • feels strange to say, but I agree with Dick ... "the bowler" :)

move the game along faster. make these guys shoot.

also, dump the safety stuff. Like the commentator said at the end. " Just make the ball! Forget safes"

    shots only please.

  • The hardcore fan probably loves the banter between the old geezers, but the shots only format is more entertaining for the regular sports fan. Pool will grab the attention and interest of more fans with a faster moving game.

A shot clock might solve the whole issue. If 11 guys can call a play and line up without moving on a football field then one pool player should be able to decide what to do in 25 seconds. Quick thinking should be part f the game.

    I vote yes.

  • @DicktheBowler to make any compartison between and football is foolish. I have the replies on this and it is clear there isn't a real pool player in the bunch. Football can be a came of inches but pool is a game milimeters all the time. Taking your time is imperative to play the game well. Show the whole match, makes, misses, safeties and the whole 9. Every aspect is the game is beautiful and skillful. Knowledge is power. learn the game.

  • @DicktheBowler I think that comparison is a little different. In football, you can maneuver during the game and change plans if things go south during the game etc. You can adapt while the game is going on. All your thinking can happen while you're on the field and not strategizing. In pool, the balls only roll for a few seconds. Not much time to think or adapt. Decisions in pool need to be more decise before they are made and executed because you can't change plans after you stroke that ball.

  • great match!

i say no to the shots only format.

  • loved the match...especially the safety battles towards the end of the race...very entertaining.

  • I agree with JasonV213....I'd rather see the full length video so we can take at least some time to analyze plays in between shots. For the most part, these players play 9 ball at a fast enough speed that the game doesn't really need to be cut.

    NO on shot only format.

  • I vote NO for shot-only format

  • Ideally, you could post both the "shots only," AND the original. I like "shots only," but I like hearing the commentators too. If I could, I would vote to have both, but I'm not sure I can.

If not, let the majority decide.

  • YES for "shots only"

  • Vote YES or NO for the "Shots Only" format in a comment.

YouDecide the format of the next upload

    Thanks for watching!

  • @BClub no

  • a very entertaining game

  • Wow what a great match. I think Luat actually deserved to win though. He only made 2 mistakes the entire match, every other shot was absolutely perfect. However, the last mistake was big.

The shots only format is nice in its own way, but I still want at least some videos unedited. I like hearing the commentary (especially Danny) and having the time to think to myself how I would play the shot and then compare it to the players, rather than just seeing it happen right away.

  • very good match..damn!

  • i like feijen.. but immonen was the best!!

  • wow great match

Luat is a Machine, barely falters

    and Feijen is Feijen

  • thanks

  • Shot only format is the only quick one and the shots literally storm in your brain and keep you on the edge of your seat but : you cannot see some of the fundamentals that both players have eg Feijen's incredible stroke by closeups or Luat's way of figuring the pattern.Anyway - good job by Bclub - keep it up and please post some more matches of this year's US Open. It's nearly the only way that people from greece can follow some of the action since our cable tv rarely shows pool..

  • Does anyone know of a good pool table cleaner?

  • lol :)

  • thanks BcClub; i'll be by june in US, and i'm wondering if i can participate in 9-ball or 15-ball tournement. i love this game, and i know that i can reach my dream. WORLD CHAMPION

  • i played with feijen several times and i think he is not a very good player

  • why? what happened during the match??

  • comparing him to others top players with who i also played during many competitions: o.ortman, r.souquet, n.van den berg, m.chamat, v.foldes, t.drago, k.stepanov ....... he didnt play good. Not like a top player. But its only my opinion :)

  • i c..tnx!

  • thx BClub, but could you please go back to giving us the High Quality Video, so image is not fuzzy and we can watch in Full Screen. Was it casual friday or what, everyone dressed like they were out for a beer at the local bar, except ref. come on men your playing the final match in a Pro Tourn., dress like a Pro. This is why mens tour has a bad rep. & only has about 200 in crowd, while snooker & pool in Europe/Phillipines fills 2500+ seat arenas.

  • We agree, but your questions need to be directed to the tournament promoters. America has many more sports choices than most other countries and pool is not in the top tier of those choices. Relax and enjoy.

  • Pool's biggest problem is that it has no formal world ranking system, or a series of ranking events, like snooker. Snooker is pretty terrible at organising the same thing, it has very few events, but it still has more of a following because it is more structured. Pool has a far more international audience, and far more high quality players than snooker. Yet snooker has more money, more fans in arenas, and more main-stream in the UK. Why can't pool do the same?

  • i like the shot only format as well. great vid ! loving it. now i cant wait for the next vid.

  • Great video, as always!

  • Are you guys kidding? Full commentary is very important. If you are a pool player and watch these videos as religiously as I do, you know that you will learn just as much from commentary as you do from watching the shots themselves.

It is more useful to hear Danny Diliberto and Billy Incardona talking about shot possibilities, precautionary moves, strategies, personal experiences etc. than just saying 'tough shot' or 'good position'.

Put the commentary back! Good match though.

  • Super format. Saves time and makes the match so much more enjoyable. Thanks for a editing job well done.

  • hahaha just finished watching it all the way...I'm the guy that stands up at 32:54

I was pulling for Luat all tournament, looks like I was the only one :)

  • FAIL AT 415

  • I usually hate watching Neils Flejen but this was good b/c you guys skipped passed all his slow play :)

    He's such a sloooow player

  • You good sir, speak the truth.

  • It's about time. I've been sitting here waiting patiently for a new video. :)

I guess I can go shower now.

    You guys are the best!

p.s. I like the shots only format.
