There's no way any country could pose a threat to us, and even if they did, Paul believes in a strong national defense. Not exactly related to this video but I feel the to say something about the age issue. SO many people trying to say that Ron Paul is too old to be the President. What exactly is that claim based on? My great grandparents lived into their 90s. My grandfather is in his 80s and still going. That makes a man in his 70s look rather young if you ask me. And that doesn't account for his above average fitness.
Best commercial he has by far....I love when his ads come on and I get to tell someone else about him...Even if it's a stranger, if you see an ad or a commercial and there's a stranger standing next to, it takes only 2 seconds to quietly mention how happy you are that someone is going to bring our republic back to life...And it makes a world of difference! Why isn't natural pork & beef insulin protected by the "Orphan Drug Act"? Pork & Beef insulin should be available to American diabetics again.

On a side note, I'm not too concerned about this because entitlement programs are not going to simply go away if RP becomes elected as president as this would be a legislative issue, therefore I still support RP but I don't agree with his position on entitlement programs.

@Laughingblades If that statement was true than before entitlement programs were started there were no poor old people. People are responsible for their own future. They can save and invest, raise children who will support them or what every they want to do. Even if an individual didn't prepare for retirement in any form the private sector and, yes, charitable organizations would help. At least with charity, no one is being robbed.
I would think that those on the receiving end are robbed of their dignity. If all the eldery/disabled people were suddenly on charity, is charity going to feed them and pay their bills every month? Where are they going to stay? In a mental institution, which is where most mentally ill people lived before social security? Grandpa and Grandma are going to live with their children and grandchildren until they die? That sounds quaint.

I disagree. No one should have to feel bad for being unable to prepare themselves for old age. And there is a huge difference between people receiving government services and people receiving charity. One difference is, people would rather shop with a food stamp card instead of getting random food that other people threw out. People would prefer to pay rent for low income housing instead of being homeless, living in a homeless shelter or putting a burden on their family.

Speaking as both a 'liberal' (whatever that really means these days) and a British subject, I think Ron Paul is an excellent candidate for the US Presidency. he is the only candidate who has truly dedicated his life to maintaining a consistent message about upholding the constitution while looking towards a genuine free market and managable welfare. My only concern for him if he was elected President is that I think the majority of the Senate & Congress would try to block most of his proposals.

There's no way any country could pose a threat to us, and even if they did, Paul believes in a strong national defense. I feel that if you looked at the issues a little deeper, you might lean more towards Dr. Paul. Perry is polling pretty poorly in SC, so if he can't do well there, it's over for him.

Not exactly related to this video but I feel the to say something about the age issue. SO many people trying to say that Ron Paul is too old to be the President. What exactly is that claim based on? My great grandparents lived into their 90s. My grandfather is in his 80s and still going. That makes a man in his 70s look rather young if you ask me. I'm thinking of the bridges, for example, that are in extreme disrepair on the Federal Interstate system and the waste treatment plants in cities the discharge the effluent into the People's rivers that haven't been upgraded since they were built when there were only 180 million Americans 40 or so years ago.

@Laughingblades If that statement was true than before entitlement programs were started there were no poor old people. People are responsible for their own future. They can save and invest, raise children who will support them or what every they want to do. Even if an individual didn't prepare for retirement in any form the private sector and, yes, charitable organizations would help. At least with charity, no one is being robbed.

I would think that those on the receiving end are robbed of their dignity. If all the eldery/disabled people were suddenly on charity, is charity going to feed them and pay their bills every month? Where are they going to stay? In a mental institution, which is where most mentally ill people lived before social security? Grandpa and Grandma are going to live with their children and grandchildren until they die? That sounds quaint.

I disagree. No one should have to feel bad for being unable to prepare themselves for old age. And there is a huge difference between people receiving government services and people receiving charity. One difference is, people would rather shop with a food stamp card instead of getting random food that other people threw out. People would prefer to pay rent for low income housing instead of being homeless, living in a homeless shelter or putting a burden on their family.

Speaking as both a 'liberal' (whatever that really means these days) and a British subject, I think Ron Paul is an excellent candidate for the US Presidency. he is the only candidate who has truly dedicated his life to maintaining a consistent message about upholding the constitution while looking towards a genuine free market and managable welfare. My only concern for him if he was elected President is that I think the majority of the Senate & Congress would try to block most of his proposals.
