I know some people wish the track was 3 laps, but i think that would ruin the whole point of the track. I think the 3 lap feature allowed the creators to give it a sense of variety and lack of staleness. And i think it was done successfully. Hands down the most amazing rainbow road yet. And possibly my favorite track of all time.

I would like to see a Rainbow Road, where if you fall off, you will not die and come back to the checkpoint, but you drive on different route which isn't that much longer than the normal route

This Rainbow Road is the best out of all the Rainbow Roads no doubt. This is also one of my favourites in Mario Kart 7. :P

There are two Wuhu courses.

Wuhu Loop and Maka Wuhu.

I don't know the other names for the courses.

There is two Wuhu courses in the CC's and one in the baloon battle. I have not played Mario Kart DS so much, but from what I know, Mk7 is better than MKDS. I also think Mario Kart 7 is better than Mario kart Wii. :)

1 rainbow road was enough then i got to the last classc cup on final race thats when i said oh shit not this one again it took me ages on the snes to beat it on 150 cc for that track alone lol

I guess the Rainbow Road is meant to be the last track of the last cup, but I still think SMK's should have been in the first two retro cups.

This track would have been epic... if we had to do 3 laps of it...

The way it is now... it is just way too short. When I imagine rainbow road, I imagine preparing for a marathon, or to climb a mountain. I imagine it as a test of will power, that keeps you on your toes for its long duration so that when you finish you feel completely drained but you feel like you really accomplished something. That is what rainbow road is to me.

With this, your hands barely even have time to get sweaty.

@Sanngot I think 2 laps would've been fine for this track. Any race going on for longer than 4 minutes is kinda overkill IMO, like 64 Rainbow Road. Especially since that track hardly had any obstacles and was just miles and miles of... road.

Driver's view mode looks really interesting. It provides a new experience to the Mario Kart franchise which provides a simulator-like feel in the game, seeing the race from your driver's point of view.

@yoshidude1999 That's actually not GCN, it's N64. Double Dash just happened to remix that section of the N64 Rainbow Road music, and then this one did it again. Most likely because it's the same guy who did some of the Double Dash music and all the N64 music.
