Such as Amanda's letter in SAW 3, it was unknown who wrote that letter until Saw 4 when Hoffman was revealed to be an accomplice and shown writing it, After Eric's fight with Amanda..Hoffman dragged him to the cell, John doesn't kill people, Eric was put onto a block of ice for Riggs test in SAW 4 but was killed as a result of Riggs failure.

@X360M Im not talking about this scene in particular. Im talking about her death. Getting shot in the neck is pretty mercyful compared to some of the other deaths in the Saw movies. But yeah she also got off easy in this scene to, simply because she didn't die. Im not denying her importance to the story, but in the end she only showed that she had absolutely no clue as to why jigsaw did what he did. Therefore I have a hard time sympathizing with her, regardless of what Eric did to her.

But as i recall, he changed his ways, so this was just an example of his past coming back to haunt him. If anything they should have targeted him directly, instead of endangering his sons life.
