this is the facelift of the 2004 "987" Porsche, which is the second and newest boxster generation.
the first boxster generation was the 1996 "986" Porsche.

Hey guess what Chachi, you know more than Porsche.. Cause that's a quote from the original Porsche press release.I think it means second generation of the CAYMAN/Porsche platform... cause the 1st boxster had no cayman
