to everyone saying something about his voice being heavily edited- yes, you're correct that you're not hearing just his natural voice. it has compression, some modulation to simulate the reverb of a large room, and echo. However, this is pretty much standard for ANY vocals on an album. Rock, pop, metal, rap, gospel, country, etc. Completely dry vocals have a tendency to sound harsh, it doesn't mean that you're hearing a CORRECTED performance, these effects are there to thicken up the sound.

Well of course it is. Most albums heavily edit the lead's vocals, but go listen to him perform the songs from this album from Live Shit Binge & Purge from Seattle in 1989 and in New Mexico in 1993. His voice sounds incredible and powerful, so I both agree and disagree with your point.

I have seen most of San Diego. I love when him and lars are drumming together it is hilarious. My all time favorite live songs have to be Sanitarium and The Thing That Should Not Be both in Seattle. I also love the Justice Medley in Mexico. Creeping Death is awesome at ALL of them
