    HA so true

  • I'm wet inside my pants....

  • they are being as weird and zany as they can.

there is no expression beyond that.

  • if the locust would split up, i'd probably be okay with it, considering they actually achieved the perfect recording of what they were trying to achieve

  • its feels like a fusion of experimental, metal, and punk.

  • @vokills420 The genre is known as "powerviolence" I shit you not. Coined by a band named "Man is the Bastard" look 'em up if you wanna. My fave of the ilk after these guys is a band called Charles Bronson, gotta love them... I'll save ya a couple o' clicks, here ya go: watch?v=5uJAPA5uSw4 You're welcome...

  • @fizgig80304 i think the locust way out-tech said genre since gabe switched to drums

  • @fizgig80304 they are avant guarde you retard. more grindcore than any thing, but of an intellectual opinion

  • @anomosity101 No need for name calling... avant garde isn't a genre, it just a descriptive term that means unorthodox or experimental which could describe a great number of things from Stravinsky to Kubrik. Yes, I'll give you, it's Grindcore more or less. Power-violence is an offshoot of the [random qualifier]-core genre, which if you'll recall got rather ridiculous for a moment there i.e. Krishna-core and (shudder, shudder) Hippie-core. So they dubbed it power-violence. A rose by any other name

  • @fizgig80304 hey sorry about that! I never said that was a genre, maybe it was the context.

  • @fizgig80304 i never said it was a genre, maybe it was the context

  • @fizgig80304 a clockwork orange

  • the very best thing The Locust ever did right here, absolutely perfect sound and design.

  • my brother got this picture tattood on his arm its fucking sick!!!!! love this band and so does my bro.

  • This s awesomely bad music, it seems when everything sucks this much... it is win!

  • @Joecoolman26 That´s just stupid. This song and the expression of The Locust is unique on so many levels. Freaking great!

  • @tim0mansell Why did you go back four pages in the comments?

  • @Joecoolman26 Ya never know what you're going to learn!

  • This is experimental punk , progresive music

  • Troche ciota

  • there totally a punk band. there just really advanced.

  • @gwynmegerton This is what punks gonna sound like in 10 years and everyones gonna be praising the locust for being so ahead of their time, how long do we have to wait for the new album?!?!?

  • Im gonna buy this. Awesome experimented metal.

  • experimental metal? are you serious? i've never heard them called that before.

  • Ok sorry, But there is some part of metal tho.

  • no i mean, i guess i can sorta hear it. to me its just music but if i had to label it id say experimental punk or avant garde something just not metal. whatever, to each his own.

  • @waxanimalparts to each her own
