  • The caucus system cost her the presidency. If Iowa held regular primary elections and not a caucus system that no one knows how it works, she would've won easily. The caucus system automatically eliminates the elderly and people who aren't going to be able to stay at a place for hours. We need to change that system for future elections.

  • @nomibe2911 but without the caucus' studying U.S politics wouldn't be fun D:

  • She shouldve won over Obama if it wasnt for all the guilt ridden white voters.

  • @Sphincterrific To the extent that govt. was involved in actually creating the crisis, imo it is that they weren't being careful enough. The banks were making bad loans and bad bets on those loans and sensible regulation to prevent this crookery could have prevented things from falling apart. There is a fine balance w/ regulation--protect the people without inhibiting the businesses. In the financial area, I don't think there was enough (however in other areas there is definitely too much).

  • @Sphincterrific Yes, where you talked about the south and food stamps? I got it--you may not have gotten my message about "the eternal argument" since I sent both at the same time. Anyway, replying--I think you forget the sequence of events. The financial crisis started in the summer of 08. When Obama took office, things were spinning out of control. Now they are slowly on the right track. His solutions haven't been great, but they have helped a bit. Cont below on the role of gov in causing it.

  • @Sphincterrific Finally, I don't want to give gov. a blank check. But on an individual basis, I trust my elected officials more with some things than I trust Big Business trying to make a profit--these are the same people who wrecked our economy, abuse China for cheap labor (in fact did the same here until gov. laws prevented it), & take every short cut they think we won't notice. Some things on the other hand I want out of the government's hands. I'm not a communist. It's a moderate position.

  • @Sphincterrific Ok, ok. The eternal argument against welfare/social safety net is that countless millions will abuse the system and live off the gov. There is actually very little evidence of this. 1st of all, I trust most Americans. & I believe that each program can be (and mostly is) designed to prevent fraud. You can't live off unemployment forever b/c it requires you to apply for jobs. they all have restrictions like that. Sure, there will always be a few people... but overall it's worth it.

  • @Sphincterrific Okay, yes. Poorer people vote D b/c we represent their interests better! We support programs to help the poor more than the GOP. Minorities vote D b/c we welcome diversity more & we have championed programs like the Civil Rights Act & DREAM Act in the past, while GOPers opposed them. Both groups are voting in their interests, not out of ignorance.

& before the real argument starts, lets agree once more: the GOP takes away rights w/ social conservatism. You must agree w/ that.

  • @Sphincterrific Challenge. I know I can beat you on at least one point: There are many very well educated, intelligent people who follow politics closely who vote Democratic. In fact, among the most educated voters, more of them vote D. Not saying that only ignorant voters vote for the GOP (As you were saying about Dems) ;just saying our party is just as intelligent. In fact, I think our platform is the smarter way to get out of the mess we are currently in. & we respect rights, too!

  • fuck all the hate

  • mendacious larcenous terrorist bitch is this caricature!

  • whoever votes for this devil, is a damned one, she and her husband, have all their hollywood friends and stupid ones at that, living in the new england states, why didn't they go back to Arkansas, after Bush gave them the big chance. whoever votes for another damned clinton, who are filled with lies, stolen politics, and stolen ideas, also they are the biggest contributors to drugs and addictions & crime, always freeing the criminal & making the streets unsafe for our children, & our people.

  • Obama is full of empty words, we should have chosen Hillary... that Obama hype was a symptom of our superficial culture in the last years.

  • I voted for Obama (although I really liked Hillary), and now I realize I made a huge mistake. Let's be honest with ourselves: Hillary would have done a MUCH better job of staying on message and keeping the public interested and happy. Damn, I was caught up in the hype.

  • @mlc2005 i agree

  • @mlc2005 she's a war monger

  • @nottinmatterz2day: Yeah, but unfortunately Kucinich wasn't even on the ballot in my state. Sometimes you gotta pick the least awful; it's the unfortunate side-effect of our two-party system. And I don't think Obama has been much of a peacenik either.

  • @mlc2005 write him in. Don't choose evil

  • @mlc2005 obama or hillary, they are the same faces of the coin. Hillary got most of the votes from women.

  • I remember drivng home from work (I'm in Los Angeles) and my husband called and said she was leading. I was glued to the TV and just lost it when she won.

  • When she said that in this speech, I lost my $h*t watching at home. Deep inside, I'm convinced they happened to have read my email when they were reportedly scrambling to write an unexpected victory speesh for her

  • I swear to God, I wrote an email to her campaign site days before the New hampshire primary, giving them my opinions about things they should do differently and how they should frame her case differently. I wrote that they need to not just talk about her experience, but frame it in a more emotional way by describing it as "the work of her life."

I know some may think I'm way too superficial and naive and silly and crazy and ridiculous to think how a great and wonderful person she is just by looking at her on the screen, but to be very clear, frankly I don't care a bit at all!!!!!!! I am completely ok with letting those some people to think that way!!!!!!!

  • Hillary 2016!!

  • hell, I say Hillary 2012! Obama sucks!

  • @smarkowitz90

Yeah! I strongly think so too!!! Hillary2012/2016!!!

  • @smarkowitz90

    I totally agree with you!!!

  • @Kieran195

    Me too!! Hillary 2012/2016!!!

  • Oh god, Estrogen overflow :/

  • This was my favourite speech of hers. I remember how surprised and happy I was that night!

  • @Cirvantes123

Yeah, this is probably my favorite one as well, this NH speech of her was really full of passion!!!

  • Obama/Clinton 2012!

  • @klimaxxx06 - I agree. Now I loves me some Joe Biden. But I get this feeling we might see Joe at state in a second Obama term and Hillary as VP.

  • I was born in Hampshire in England!!!! The real Hampshire, not this yank rip off.

  • Run! We are so ready!

  • Run, Hillary Run!

  • @dcv3

    I'm a Hillary supporter, too

  • she needs to run again,

obama is a piece of shit,

  • @stefanybody

    Totally agree!!!

  • @stefanybody - If Obama is such a piece of shit, why did Hillary bust her ass to help him get elected and why is she now part of his admin?

    Idiot.

  • @ronnykmarshall its called politics :>

  • @ronnykmarshall your too stupid too realize hillary ran the white house not bill and now shes doing it again, she travels the world and has the hardest job, harder than obamas. she is still running the show, even michelle obama called her president by mistake at a speech lol...in 4 yrs she will proably be president, shes been in the white house longer than anyone in history! thats something too admire

  • @stefanybody - If you think that Hillary would take on a sitting President of her OWN party that is also her boss .... honey you need to look into a mirror before you call someone stupid.

  • @ronnykmarshall shes not taking him on, but she is calling alot of shots, and she can do that, its not like hes gona fired her, that would make him look real bad and he would lose alot of votes, the only reason obama beat mccain is bcuz hillary told her supporters to pik him, had she said to her supporters to pick mccain hed be in the whitehouse not obama. !!!!!!!

  • @stefanybody - Learn how to spell before you try and make your lame ass points.

  • @ronnykmarshall i spell very good this is not a spelling bee dumass. you have no point ur a dumass

  • I love Obama, but I was so upset she lost, I want her to run again, I know she can.

  • @fp3shb

    Yeah!

  • prob. the most exciting election since 2000. Obama's victory while historic and a much needed breath of fresh air really lacked the drama that this night produced. great memory

  • this old hag found her voice!!!

  • Hillary 2012!

  • @coolmancolton

    Yeah! Hillary 2012/2016

  • Hillary should have been President.

  • I think she would've been better than Obama. I don't think Hillary would've been quite as naive to just throw money at everything, she's been around long enough to know it won't work, she would've been more calculating.

  • @zeecee1

    Yes, can't agree more!!!

  • @LexiXXGore

Yes, yes, yes... I think so too!!!

  • hillary all the way

  • @crazyflips101

    Yes, Go!!!! Hillary, 2012/2016

  • remember folks this is only politics no-thing personal

  • Hillary 2012

  • 2016

  • obama domed are contery to day look online for how

  • well said.

  • @master654852 - Don't drink and post.

  • @master654852 lol so old!

  • Hillary would have been a great president i hope she will run in 2016. the great old USA need a woman president to sort out all the mess left my all the ago men.

  • we don't hve to wait to 2016. she can run in 2012.

and judging by the way Obama has been so far, i think we will NEED her to run in 2012.

Obama has proven himself so far to be just words, and no action. he hasn't done ANYTHING he' promised on the campaign trail yet.

Obama has done NOTHING but PROVE something we already knew... that sexism is stronger than racism in this country.

    HILLARY 2012!

  • but how if he runs again wich he will!!??

  • just because he is the incumbent doesn't mean he automatically has the democratic nomination. There is still a primary process. Just like Ted Kennedy ran against Jimmy Carter in the 1980 primaries, and if it weren;t for Chappaquiddick, kennedy mightv'e taken it.

  • @crazydeano81

Obama sucks! Can't defeat Hillary again!!!!

  • @lostalex77

Lol, can't agree more with what you said. The last thing you said was really amusing and TRUE!!!!

  • Now Hillary Clinton is fighting pirates off Somalia! She just keeps on giving ...

  • You know, even though Obama has turned out to be quite a good president, and I'm happy for it, there is still that little pang of sadness. Damn I miss you HILLARY!

  • @malracraze

Absolutely!!! I feel the same way, too.

  • I'm so glad Obama picked her as Secretary of State she earned it.

  • @bart11114

    Uh-huh...

  • I'm republican but I would have voted for Hillary instead of Mccain LOL

  • @Texaslocoman

Oh! God! That's so great to heart that!!!

  • She was sooo close... I wish she were president... but anyway, hope Obama would do well.

  • @batking1009

How close? How many vote margin were specifically between Hillary and Obama in the final primary result?

  • @batking1009

Oh! How close? How many vote margin was exactly between Hillary and Obama in the final primary result? Thank you!

  • 2012 Hillary!!!

  • @tylerk45

    Yes!!!

  • i like Obama, but I still wish it was her, maybe 2016

  • @rigso321

Oh! That's good to know! I only like Hillary! I think she is the best!

  • I'd feel better if she was the Prez

  • @NObotsClub

I absolutely agree with you!!! I strongly feel the same way too!!! In fact she is much more stronger than Barack Obama in lots of ways and aspects!!! Do you agree with me on this as well?^^

  • @NObotsClub

    Me too!!!

  • amazing how much better this speech was than the post-Iowa speech

  • I get what you're saying but why use such demeaning language? It impedes your point greatly.

  • Go fuck yourself.

  • Love her!

  • @omorado

Yeah! I love her so much too!!!^^

  • haha 00:11 Hillary's face is scare

  • you are truly an idiot

  • Lol @ the witch.

  • what the fuck is this? listen at 2:45! this campayn iz about ppl! BULLSHIT there waz only 1 real campayn about ppl and thats why we hav barack obama the first black president in the white house. Wow she must be crazy to think her campayne was the only 1 for da people.

  • she should have won, she was the peoples president, she got more vote than obama in the primarys but the democrat part rigged it for obama

  • Exactly. No FL and no MICH vote. Gimme a break.

  • I agree with you, Hillary Clinton won the popular vote, by far than Senator Bark Obama. So sad she didnt make it.

But at least the democrat candidate won.

  • The democrats didn't rig anything. Florida and Michigan didn't count. U know that.

  • @razman3000

What? I'm very curious! What do you mean by that? Thank you!

  • this was GREAT. Considering how the damned media had buried her here. I like this.

  • I love Hillary!! but is really funny to see her faces at the begging of the speech!! GO HILLARY!

  • PUMA Power!

  • ``````Think Different in 2009 - McCain/Palin```

    /watch?v=4NUtQcufnQI

  • Hillary, thank you for your years of public service and dedication to the issues that Americans care about deeply. You have worked years, tirelessly, and championed Universal Healthcare, Women's and Children's Rights despite a tremendous campaign of hate and lies from the those who stand in the way of progress and open dialogue. The DNC leadership undermined the process to penalize you and to favor Obama. First MI and FL, then silence in response to the sexism from the Media, and so on and so on.

  • Hillary, thanks for writing History for HUMAN RIGHTS--women's rights!

You were demeaned by the media misogynist frat-boys, CNN, MSNBC, Olberman, Matthews, your own Party, and the camouflaged sexism of Obama (see his youtube rapper insulting megahit: "Obama Gives Hillary the Finger").

HILLARY, YOU ARE THE HISTORIC CANDIDATE WHO SHOULD BE PRESIDENT! WE THANK YOU!

  • @Veltanschaung

    Absolutely agree!!!

  • Obama, Biden, Clintons, and McCain are members of the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) The CFR have a very anti-american viewpoint and believe in globalization. ITS PUBLIC KNOWLEDGE. They write it all in their magazines and website articles! They have publicly said that USA national sovereignty must be destroyed. Obama, Biden, Clintons, and McCain are members of the CFR!! Research it you SHEEP!!

  • I love you Hillary!

  • GO HILLARY!!

  • @miloa01

    I support Hillary too!

  • fellow Hillary supporters, please do not vote for Obama. If McCain wins, she WILL be President in 2012. Then we will see actual "change". Please consider.

  • How dare you. What an insult to everything that Hillary stands for. You would subject this country to 4 more years without universal health care, a continuation of an unjust war, and the threat of more unjust wars to come just because you'd rather see Hillary deliver change instead of Obama? As Hillary said herself, were you in it for what she stands for, or were you in it just for her?

  • Any real hilary supporter knows that she wants to be president in 2012. If obama wins this election, that wil not happen. Do you disagree with that statement?

  • Why do you even support Hillary? A real Hillary supporter stands behind her because of everything she's fought for. A vote for John McCain is a vote in the opposite direction of everything Hillary advocated -- he's anti-choice, anti-universal health care, anti-diplomacy...the list goes on. So you tell me, how can any real Hillary supporter shun the candidate who best represents her views -- Obama -- while supporting a man who is essentially the anti-Hillary?

  • Barry obama doesnt even think born babies are human. I'm much more pro-life than pro-murdering dead babies that can survive outside the womb.

  • The "Born Alive" bill was signed into law 8 years ago, and will obviously not be revisited for political purposes if/when Obama is president. Obama's stance on this never-to-be-visited-again issue doesn't change the fact that the difference between he and Hillary's platforms during the primaries was so trivial that any true Hillary supporter would not think twice about throwing all of their support behind Obama. You have yet to give a reason why this is not the case.

  • @bs17

In short, did you support Hillary or Obama during the Primary?

  • Hillary voted no on banning partial birth abortion ;)

  • What? What do you mean?

  • @Dllshockk

Are you a Hillary support. If so, that would be great. I'm a Hillary supporter

  • @Dllshockk

I didn't qute get you. Would you elaborate a little on that? Thank you!

  • @Dllshockk

I didn't quite get you. Would you please elaborate a little on that? Thank you!

  • Please vote mccain. obama .. WHO is he? we know nothing about him and his associations (his pastor), his pastors friend (farakan), his endorsement (hamas) ... is frightening! Hillary supporters, please vote MCCAIN!

  • don't tell me i can't write in it's my vote.the dnc can screw ,tough.

  • This country is DAMNED just like Jermiah Wright predicted, thanks Obama.

    CLINTON '12!

  • Biden over Hillary?

    Are you kidding me?

Obama can't win without her, I'm staying home!

  • i love u hillary! i will never vote BHO! i will write-in your name and pray BHO loses! hillary 2012!

  • I wish hillary was in the race.

  • god

y coodnt she have won :[

  • The biggest problem among us are the give me a a hand out liberal Democrats. They're all a bunch of UNAmerican whining, cry babies.

  • Damn how great things would be if she was president.

  • 0:8 is the scariest face ever

  • Hillary for president

  • I LOVE HILLARY

  • Hillary Clinton said "Islam is the fastest growing religion in America, a guide and pillar of stability for many of our people"

Just another anti Constitutional statement from Hillary the liberal appeaser.

  • PUMA!

  • I didn't go that night. I wished I had but was tired from doing visibility all day for her. She is still my hero. Love you,Hillary.

I cannot vote for Obama. I became a PUMA.

  • People like you make me sick...would you really rather see John McCain in the presidential office than Barack Obama, where Hillary actually has a chance of being in the white house as VP. You are so ignorant and I'm sure Mrs. Clinton thinks the same.

  • Yes, I would rather see McCain as Prez and I am a long time Clintonite since 1992 & worked on both Campaigns in NH.

  • Well, I'm very proud of you...but there are bigger problems amongst us. For example, the war in Iraq, the war in Georgia, the economy, and illegal immigration. John McCain is a REPUBLICAN and judging from your ignorant comment, you're one as well. I hope you realize that this is the most IMPORTANT election of your and I lifetime, not a time for immature temper-tantrums just because the person you want to be the democratic nominee failed MISERABLY.

  • Temper-tantrums? It seems only you are using caps. And what have the democrats proposed we do about the wars? Can you answer that? Stop caring about them because they don't care about you. They are telling you what you want to hear and you're buying it. All of them. So make a decision based on what would be best for the country not your own beliefs.

  • First of all, I am not an idiot so you don't have to talk to me in that manner. We're all adults here and we should write comments like adults. Second of all, Barack Obama and the democratic party DEFINENTLY care about the well-being of myself and the country. Why do you think they want us to get out of Iraq. I know you're probably a republican so I'll try to talk slowly; John McCain was asked on the Today Show about a release date for the soldiers to leave Iraq and he replied on National TV

  • "First of all, I am not an idiot so you don't have to talk to me in that manner. We're all adults here and we should write comments like adults." "I know you're probably a republican so I'll try to talk slowly;" Open mouth and insert foot. You should take your own advice. You are the only one insulting people and yelling at them. Democratic hypocrisy strikes again, but I'm sure you will come back with some other asinine comment. And who said they care about you? Them? LOL see previous comment.

  • ya seriously
