Streets of Rage Remake REVIEW (PC)

I have 2 issues with this remake. 1st, i have a fast pc and i have a 27 inch tv, however this remake looks crappy. It feels like the game runs in a real low resolution, but i can't see a way to increase it in the options. Any ideas?

I really hate having to double press in order to do a run, is there no way to remap run to a single button?

I'm all for this game having bits and pieces from SoR3, as long as they left out all the sci-fi crap that brought the series down a peg. If I have to fight one more brain in a jar, I'll scream.

I've definitely got to pick this up, though. It's free, sure, but you know some of us SoR fans (myself included) would pay good money for this remake if it's as good as it looks here....

To answer people that wonder what Axel says while performing his blitz attack, he says "Grand Upper" in Bare Knuckle III (the jap, original version for Streets of Rage 3) and he says "Bare Knuckle" in the western version of the game :-D

@Jojogarb666 Exactly right. Axel says "Grand Upper", same as he did back in SoR2. Only the Western release of SoR3 was changed to say "Bare Knuckle".

OK, once and for all, Axel yells "Grand Upper" (the actual name of the move, check the instruction manuals) in all 3 games ! It's only in the US and EUR versions of SOR3 that Axel yells "Bare Knuckle", because silly SEGA of America re-recorded all voice samples for their version.

It's to bad it can't be online 4-player I mean with all 8 of those characters (plus Roo If downloaded) It would be a good beat'em up game to play with others on the computer.

yeah i downloaded it played ti alst night. you gotta get the vista patch download thing too, then extract it into the game folder and replace everything when it asks. then go into the folder, right click the icon, and run as administrator

Yeah it was in the game before it became the dragon uppercut. You can find it if you debug SOR2 in a emulator. Also the Bike stage which was remove is playable but it cause the game to crash on that stage.

Streets of rage 4 was going to be made for the dreamcast. I have links to screenshots. It was cancelled because Sega of America who were asked by the creators who went to them for advice. Sega of america said that the Beat em up genre wouldn't work well in the present. The game was first person and looked awesome.

There are not all of the enemies...They only didn´t put The long hair ninja from SOR1...and The one called ''Ninjo'' is absolutely not him...it´s another enemy!!!

The long hair one should appear since Stage one, with a level o appearance similar to Galsia(the red haired guy) Donovan(the shirtless bald) and Signal(the white haired punk)...

I hope they put the Long hair guy in version 5
