  • It's not a jet, because has propellers, not turbines.

  • @PATRIENIX Did you not hear the turbine? the small propellers are just to stabalize it "with gyros, im sure".

  • @PATRIENIX your a retard, the props are for stablizing. Trying this with just the jet engine would be like balancing on a bowling ball using 1 stilt.

  • @superskullmaster

I am sure that you mean to say 'you're a retard'.....Retard!

Grammtical errors aside, from an engineering point of view you are indeed correct; with this design the 'propellers' merely provides a system to manoeuvre the craft about the pitch, roll and yaw axes. Assuming that the craft is properly balanced, the system of propellers should provide zero net lift; therfeore all net lift must provided by the turbine.

  • @Megaboob7 A humble man with a sense of humor. I like that.

  • Amazing !

  • Anyone heard or seen a vtol vstol type (real size) like this to carry roughly 800 kilo's???? help? thanks, Dave

  • where did you get it

  • impresionante cojonudooooo

  • Very cool. Shame about the stability issues, maybe some more lateral control would be handy.

  • Amazing - a milestone in aeromodelling. I remember the Harrier model someone (Mike Koskela?) built, but it wouldn't transition to forward flight.

  • he has the props on because on real vtol aircrafts use tiny jets of air to keep stability, and cuz the pilot couldnt add an air compressor onto the aircraft, he added tiny props instead.

  • they use bleed air off the main compressor in the engine...doofus...

  • be nice if the jet engine wasnt fixed, the 3 props killed it, but still very cool

  • i would like to see a gotho go229a made

  • how about the triebflugel :)

  • That is sweet. I'd like to see a Harrier, F-35 or Osprey made.

  • There looks to be three props. One behind the tail, and one near the tip of each wing .

  • nice, so is it just a normal plane with a vertical jet in it, also how was the tilting of the plane done?

  • layla, have you got your speakers turned on? Nitro engines don't sound like that. :)Though it indeed looks like it has props as well, I would guess to add stability and a bit of extra thrust. Awsome model, kudos to the builder.

  • of course it doesnt sound like a nitro engine becasue its turbine powerd

  • Are you sure its a jet? It seems to have a pusher prop and lifting props.

  • OMG!!! that is soooo cool!!! hovering jet..and its rc!!
