sg's dont sound bad at all, there actually pretty amazing, i mean, this cheap ones sound like shit but my friends got a really nice one and its by far one of the best guitars ive played on

I played it too. Its ok but the les paul has a waaaaayyyy better sound. Thats why billie joe switched to it. He never used the sg after he got his les paul.

Try a Paul Reed Smith, they are in my opinion way better then any Gibson guitar.

that is not true at all my man, SG's are beautiful sounding guitars. yeah lp's are amazing but they just have sustain and bit more tone than sg's
