I am impressed with the Paramount Television Logo (1969 -- Version A) for its faster speed. Well Done!! One thing would come to mind: The Brady Bunch!!
I remember on TBS there was a low-tone version of this music at the end of a "Brady Bunch" episode. I know it's from season 1, but the episode title eludes me right now.
Ha ha! Who played brass on that Paramount Television jingle? I already know there was a cover of the same tune. Does N.E.body know where they recorded that jingle?
Be on the look out for the opening version of this jingle, which among other Paramount movies, was used as the opening tag for the TV movie "Seven in Darkness."
i remember seeing this one on a first season rerun of love american style i was half asleep when the credits were going and all of a sudden da da da daaaaaaaaa pinggggggggg
This sound a little different just like there is one that sounds different of the seond closet killer or is it just bad quality sound or distorted. A different souding horn is is usually on the first closet killer.
Also it has the dark red back round while there was some with lighter shades of red with this jingle and others. There were sydication mistakes with this jingle too.
paramount/g&w also owned stax records of memphis, tennessee during this period ,buying the label after it's distribution agreement with atlantic records expired.
I love everything about this logo from the Font of the letters to the colors to the music. I wish they kept this logo forever! Meaning (1969-present). I love 1960s-1980s logos. TV Logo's today suck!. I prefer simple animantion when it come to Tv logos & video games.
this was BY FAR the best music they had. from 1970 on, the tune was just uninspired. THIS was just avant garde and interesting, and that final chord before the upsweep should be studied in music classes. great.
@convictedashes Yeah, I guess. You can easily do '60s-'70s style logos now with After Effects. Imagine what they could've accomplished if that software existed then, and the logos might end up scarier with the idea at its freshest.
@videosyoulike137 And it's thanks to Satan who always injects in every Closet Killer Hell Hormones
